The room is nice. The staff is nice. The resort fee and parking fee aren't worth it. Resort fee doesn't even cover beach chair and umbrella. In fact, the "beach resort" isn't really right next to the beach (separated by a road) with outside vendors renting the chair and umbrella.
There are great variety of restaurants around..
The pool was crowded and really nothing spectacular.

A nice new hotel/resort right across the street from Clearwater Beach. The Deluxe King Suite has a HUGE balcony. Too bad it faced the adjacent parking lot. But it did have views to the ocean and the lagoon side. The room itself is also HUGE with full kitchen appliances, small dining table, couch, bed, bathrobes. The housekeeping staff is pleasant and kept our room clean daily.

Someone mentioned it previously, and I can confirm that our AC unit is always turning off and on, run stop, run stop, all nite long. It's a bit annoying if you're a light sleeper. Oh, make sure you're balcony door is shut tight otherwise the AC will not kick in, even though the fan runs.

The $25 resort fee gets you water bottles every day, towel service at the pool and beach, and wi-fi. Personally, I feel that a hotel/resort like the Hyatt should either build this into their price or remove it altogether. Having the $25 extra fee (essentially for water, towels, and wifi) made it feel like we're being taken advantaged of just bc they can. Seriously, drop the fee and advertise the extras as complementary. Your hotel will stand out from the crowd in CWB.

In our room, the wifi signal was either 1 bar or none-existent. I mentioned it at checkout and the desk person said they're going to upgrade wifi service in the future. In any case, we had a couple bars of LTE signal on our smart phones, so the crapy wifi signal was not a deal-breaker.

Other than that, we liked the resort. Pool is big enough and it's great to be able to relax at the poolside sipping cold drinks after a day on the beach. It's location is great as well. Close enough to walk to the circle and the pier but far enough away from the hub-bub of everything.

Would we stay there again? Maybe, if they make some improvements.

Room Tip: Deluxe King room 825 faces the top floor of the adjacent parking lot, but it does have some ocean vi...

We came to the Hyatt as a last minute trip. Overall, was a pretty good vacation. The area of clearwater beach was a bit more hectic than we realized. The hotel and staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were also exceptional. We have a gluten allergy and they were extremely accommodating and had plenty of options, including gluten free bread, which is rare. Only complaint was that the carpets in the room, and the underbed support covered in fabric, were clearly either dirty or stained. A little bit gross for our tastes, but given it's a popular spring break destination, that's probably to be expected. Other noted issue is needing to cross the street to get to the beach, but we were aware of this in advance and with a 10 and 12 year old, was not a problem. Overall, a nice hotel

this a a winer spot for family or any type of vacation. Its right on the beach with restarant and bar easily accessible. service with a smile, esp at breakfast each morning in the lobby for coffee. ROSE is a ray of sunshine and goes above and beyond to please the customre. service with a smile puts it mildly. If it was her day off we were really disappointed. the entire place rocks but Rose really was the icing on the cake.

Room Tip: gulf view is best but all rooms are beautiful and clean with kitchens for extra convenience

The infrastructure doesn't really reflect the latest trend but it somehow manages to keep up the charme of a place that you want to return to. The staff have been very attentive and friendly and I would especially want to point out the Concierge desk as well as a lady called 'Rose' from the Starbucks counter that is located opposite the breakfast area. People like them spread their positive attitude to their clients.
The white-sanded beach was a great contribution to a very good experience.

I planned a small meeting at the hotel and have to say the staff was exceptional. People were truly friendly, helpful and fantastic to work with. The meeting food was tasty and varied from day to day. The beach views are lovely and the rooms are large and comfortable. Great choice.

Room Tip: Pick a higher floor for better views. I had a room on the 9th floor 920 and the downside is the balc...

I am fairly picky about hotel ratings I admit. This was advertised as a four star but to me it is a solid 3. The room was huge with fully stocked kitchen and fairly comfortable bed. Mattress was a bit old and carpet was ripped. Chair was stained but the ocean view was amazing. Huge private balcony was great place for morning coffee and staff very very helpful And friendly with exception of bar/ restaurant staff who were slow and apathetic. I recommend skipping the hotel food with plenty of great options within short wAlk. Overall pretty good but a bit dated.

Room Tip: Ask for suite with straight view of ocean rather than side view
