Again, if you are use to reading my reviews, this was our annual Spring Break vacation. For the most part, it is us and another family that take this trip. After our experience last year in Treasure Island, we knew we wanted to be closer to Clearwater, and boy were we ever. This Hyatt sits right in the heart of Clearwater Beach. It is walking distance from many restaurants, shopping, Pier 60, etc. The hotel and the room definitely gave us the "WOW" factor. We had room 1120, which overlooked the pool area and the ocean. The pool is on the 8th floor and is nice, however, the hotel is almost a horseshoe shape and creates a wind catchall, so it is very chilly/cold on the deck.
Having 4 kids between the two families, it was nice to see daily activities for them. On our last day we were smacked with rain, however after leaving breakfast we noticed the staff had taken a meeting room and turned it into a kids retreat.
We did have several issues while there, however the pros much out weighed the cons and this is the only place I plan to stay in the future when visiting Clearwater Beach.
It is a bit pricey, however well worth the money.
Also, one more thing - the view from the front or back is AWESOME! Ocean on one, Bay on the other... WILL RETURN A LOT!!!!More
