Clearly the movie "A Dolphan's Tale" has had a wonderful affect on this Aquarium. We were told that 4,000 people were there the day before we went. The dolphins were darling, and we could have spent hours just watching Winter, and we did. We watched Winter get her tail put on, swim with it and without it, above and below the water. We took the behind the scene tour, and was not worth it. Mostly seeing a faux turtle that swallowed a hook and what they did to save it. The gift shop was great as well.
The bad news, the toilets are in a trailor that flush like a camper/plane. Tip - there is a handicapped bathroom near the gift shop. Also with a changing table. Don't forget to notice the grey houseboat (when waiting for the trolley), outside of the facility, where the Grandpa lived (Kris Kristofferson).
A lot of the main building was run down, rusting, and poorly taken care of. They are building a new addition. Hopefully, everything will be updated.
We rode the trolly to the movie location. The hurricane room was real interesting. Many of the movie sets were there, so that was cool.
Worth going to, absolutely, especially when you have seen the movie.
