“Great Improvements after the dolphin movie”
Reviewed May 26, 2012

It's a small place but they do a good job. Seeing Winter the dolphin was so cute and I really liked how they incorporated the movie props into the movie.

“This attraction is only worth the money if you have a coupon for half off”
Reviewed May 25, 2012 via mobile

I'm a big fan of aquariums and this place just doesn't quite measure up. They really rely on the popularity of the dolphin with the mechanical tail to reel people in. But once you get in you're definitely left thinking "was that it?"

“Had to see”
Reviewed May 25, 2012 via mobile

My 3 year old son hasn't quit talking about the broken dolphin for 3 months. So when we planned a trip to visit family 2 hours from Clearwater we had to go. I have 14, 9 and 3 year old boys and they enjoyed every bit of it. Take the free boat shuttle to the second exhibit if you want a boat ride but don't expect much there. We went on a weekday so it wasn't too crowded. It isn't big but they are very friendly and answer all your questions.

“Drive a little farther and go to the Tampa Aquarium”
Reviewed May 23, 2012

We took our 3 year old grandson here because we thought it would be enough for a child his age - but there was hardly anything there to see - 20 minutes and we were done. Overpriced for what they have. If it was by donation, and it was promoted as a charity, I think it would be a fairer approach. Next time we will take him in to the Tampa Aquarium - which is a real aquarium, not an animal rescue hospital. I think it needs to be re-branded as such so people know what to expect.

“Great stop for Dolphin Tale Fans and animal lovers”
Reviewed May 21, 2012

Our daughter wanted to see Winter the dolphin. This was our first stop during our FL vacation and we spent the entire day here. They do presentations on the various animals there and it was fun and educational. We did pay extra for the behind the scenes tour and it didn't feel like it was very much "behind the scenes." We didn't learn much from it or experience much that we couldn't otherwise have done on our own at the aquarium, but we consider the additional money we paid to be a donation to the center and we support their mission. If you're a big movie buff, you will enjoy seeing the various movie props in the Dolphin Tale building. They have it all displayed very nicely. Our daughter seemed to enjoy finding out what about the movie was true and what was fiction.
