It's true. This place is like a Hooters with plaid skirts on bottom, instead of shorts. I like the outdoor seating, and they have a great happy hour and ladies night. It seems like ever time I go, it's 2 for 1. Try the steamed clams. The sauce is delicious, I'm still trying to copy it. Service is hit and miss, but then again, that's not their biggest selling point.

I have been here a few times as a burger stop before heading across the street to a ball game at Bright House Field. It is sometimes very crowded and loud, but that was not the case on my latest visit. We sat outside on the deck on a day when the temp. Was not too hot.

Good old bar food, and to a minor league ball game. Doesn't much more red, white and blue than that.

Laid back with a Scottish atmosphere. Short kilts and tight tops. Now that I have your attention, the food was actually good.. Plenty of t.v.s and a cpl of pool tables. Drinks were above board as well as the food. You'll definitely like.

Was in Clearwater checking out a business prospect, when we realized we hadn't stopped to eat yet (it was approx 4:30 pm). We had been to our local "Kilt" and were not disappointed by the meal, so when we spotted Clearwaters franchise, we decided to pull in. WOW!! WHAT A MISTAKE!!! We waited 5 minutes at the door before anyone came to the hostess stand to greet us. The young lady (couldn't have been more than 16) looked at us like we were from a foreign planet and after asking how many in our group (there was only the 2 of us and no one else waiting) stated she'd have to check "if a table was available" ( the place was practically empty... but she disappeared to check) 5 more minutes passed before she came back and directed us to our table.
There were 6 empty tables around us, 5 servers passed us SEVERAL times... 10 more minutes passed before one passed us and suddenly stopped, turned around and asked if we were helped. NOOOOOO !!
She took our drink order, ok.. that arrived quickly... then she disappeared. We watched as the "girls" (none were over the age of 18) served only tables filled with guys.. while tables of couples or families were ignored. One server spent the entire time we were there talking to an older gentleman sitting alone.
When our server finally came back ( a good 12 minutes later) we gave her our full order.... which included an appetizer. The meal & appetizer arrived together. The server sat the dishes down and left. What we ordered was far from "finger food".... but I guess she thought it was as we never were given silverware... luckily there was a busser who we watched hustle about was kind enough to supply us with the silverware.Because as we searched for our server, she had seated herself at a table mid dinning room with 3 young men.... she sat there for at least 15 minutes.
The same nice busser cleared our appetizer plates & tray and refilled a water glass. The "server" at that point came over to "see if everything was ok"... even though we were nearly finished and then returned to her 3 new friends, reseating herself at their table.
The meal itself was very average.. not anything worth bragging about..... as we finished the last bites that very nice busser cleared those dishes and was very polite about collecting our check from the "server" .When she brought it to us, she immediately handed it to my husband.. when she realized I was paying the bill, her facial expression and giggly attitude disappeared immediately. There was no Thank you, please come again.. nothing! I tipped the busser and not her... he did all the work!
A pretty sad state of affairs when the clean up crew does a better job than the staff thats hired to do the actual job.
Will NEVER go back there again.. and our local Kilt will hear our displeasure of this visit!
