It was New Year's Eve 2012 and we were driving around blindly looking for a place to eat that wasn't already booked up. We saw this place and took a chance. This place was lined up out the door more than any other restaurant on the strip. The place was rammed full. We were willing to wait awhile, but being only a table of two, we got seated quick. The food was pretty good! The service was quick and relatively attentive, even though the guy was running around like a mule. It was full of every type of people, even babies. The decor was family beachy, and priced well. The Sesame stir fry was good, the sea bass was even better. We liked the idea of ordering the sides separately from a list of choices. We will definitely go here again.

Though not right on the beach, this bistro does offer all-weather outdoor seating as well as dining room tables. We always opt for the patio as it is more casual and where the live music is located. The regular menu offers a delightful variety of fares for all appetites and tastes and the daily specials are unbeatable. I'm personally fond of the ahi tuna nicoise salad, and the conch chowder in a lightly spiced tomato broth is unbeatable -- especially when served in the bread bowl. Prices are average, but servings are generous and tastier than other beach eateries. Libations are mighty yummy, too :-) All in all, when in the area, give Clear Sky a try -- you'll not be disappointed.

Went from the sand pearl and loved the huge menu for breakfast with fast and friendly service. Went in the evening and the service was not as friendly but recommend for breakfast.

We were recommended by the condo mgmt company and this place was very good. We went for lunch but had breakfast because the kitchen doesn't open for lunch until 1:00. I wish they would have told us that before we sat down, but we were disappointed. The food was fresh and very well prepared.

Booked this restaurant a couple of months back prior to travelling to Clearwater from the UK after checking out reviews on here. On arrival were greeted by pleasant staff who said we were wise booking as because it was New Years Eve they were turning people away. Starters arrived and they were fine and that is when it started to go wrong, we were only half way through them when our mains arrived! I had ordered the NYE special of prime rib and I have never seen so much fat in a supposedly prime piece of meat.
We were then asked if we wanted desert and when we said no we were presented with the bill, no offer of coffee!
The place was busy and clearly more interested in turnover, table booked for 7 and we were leaving by 7:50, if I wanted fast food I would of hone to McDonald's. I had a much better experience in Bob Heilmans Beachcomber on New Years Day and far better VFM
