Tristan was fabulous! He’s very knowledgeable and personable. He knew where we would see dolphins, a manatee, and multiple different birds. The one hour tour was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend sailing with Tristan.
We took a 1 hour tour with Tristan Daniels as our guide. We ended up wishing we had booked a longer tour and we will certainly come back and request him again. Not only is he very knowledgeable about the history of the Everglades, but he was able to find quite a bit of wildlife for us to enjoy, including dolphins who followed our boat for a bit. We had a beautiful trip on the water and I highly recommend Tristan and Smallwood Boat Tours.
We had such an amazing boat tour from the Smallwood Store with Captain Gary. I highly recommend it. Our kids who are almost 7 and 9 loved it! We did a 2 hour tour and it was incredible. Dolphins, all kinds of birds, amazing island sightseeing, and travelled through small passages in the mangroves. Really incredible!
Captain Cory was amazing. We did the sunset tour and he kept was awesome! He showed us lots of wildlife and entertained us with his fantastic family tales!!
We booked a sunset tour and ended up having a private excursion with Captain Gary. Loved every minute learning about the Everglades and 10,000 islands. He certainly knows his way around, having lived there all his life. He took us to Pavilion Island and it’s beautiful beach, the rookery where the birds went to roost at sundown, and was able to find the pod of dolphins he knew just about at sunset, so we got marvelous pictures of dolphins with a setting sun! He went back and had the dolphins flying along in the boat’s wake...so much fun! Don’t miss a tour with these folks...they know their way around.
A wonderful sunset tour through the 10,000 lakes. Our captain told us local stories the whole trip! We saw tons of birds and the rookery was impressive. We even came across a dolphin who played in our wake.
