The lunch menu has the usual fare to be expected at an eatery in a seemingly dilapidated small coastal town – hamburger, grilled cheese sandwich, tuna sandwich, etc. Waitress eventually came around and rattled off a pretty extensive list of specials that bore no resemblance to the menu items. I had a bowl of the shrimp and lobster bisque. Very possibly the best bisque I have ever had – including several multi-star big city restaurants. My dining companion had blackened mahi-mahi

Service was slow, even though the wait staff was hustling. It took awhile to get our meal, and could not get the waitress’ attention when we wanted our bill. Finally walked up to the register to pay.

We sat outside at concrete tables and benches with embedded ceramic tiles – sort of a 60’s coastal chic. The music was an eclectic mix of 70s and 80s music and kind of added to the fun.

Had a hard time on the rating. It is definitely better than a 3 star but the service made it less than a 4 star. The wait staff was trying so I am going to vote on the food.

What a trip! The servers were wo nice and the food (and beer) a real treat! You can sit outside at small tables and get personal friendly service with suggestions of what to order.

Good place for breakfast and lunch - we tried it both and the food was really good.
The service is a little slow and not the most friendly, but our waitress seemed to be a little overwhelmed - especially during the lunch service. She was much nicer the next morning for breakfast.

We stopped in after a visit to Everglades City for crocodile watching. Didn't see any crocs but this restaurant made up for the disappointment. The sandwiches are super and we each got a different kind- the media noche and the cuban- and shared. My favorite was the cuban and the wonderful yellow bread that the sandwich was served on. Need to find out what kind of bread that is! Took the leftover sandwiches with us on the way to the airport. Made delicious snack later in flight. Very eclectic location. Loved sitting out on patio!

Will stop here again if ever in the neighborhood.
