Awesome waterfall, a main walking trail closed due to a large tree over the path. (Mother Nature doing her thing). Hot and humid morning, not much else to do here. Very cool to visit a waterfall and the largest caverns in the state( Florida Cavern's) in the same weekend.

“Go in the spring for a dazzling display of Wild Azalea (Rhododendron periclymenoides and flowering dogwood.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2014

This is a great place for a family picnic and a hike. The waterfall does get bigger when it rains, the very deep (100 feet) cylindrical sink hole has its own unique microclimate and flora. This spot has a rich history: They drilled for oil here, there was a famous plant nursery here, a famous, mysterious murder happened here and they made moonshine here (good water). I prefer the spring and the fall.

“Family Camping Trip”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014

Holiday weekend family camping trip. Not a lot to do at the park. Very short trails and the waterfall was big bu it was closed off and you couldn't go in to feel the cold water off the rocks. It took less than a day to explore the entire park. Only stay for a day and start early. Swim at the lake to many people was smoking. Bathrooms are clean and showers are only hot in the morning. Tip--take a shower in the morning to get hot watrer.

“Nice break”

Nice park with camp grounds. Walking trails and small lake to swim in. Great to go and have a walk threw the woods, stop and take a break from driving, or camp out with the kids.

“Super State Park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

We got there early in the morning and had the place to ourselves. Bliss. It's a lovely quiet peaceful park, lots of birds and wildlife. The hiking trails are short and easy and well maintained. The waterfall was in full flow, very impressive. Definitely worth the entrance fee and as much time as you can spare.
