“Go after a rainfall”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2012

Falling waters state park was really very beautiful (the smell of the pines is intoxicating). I was mildly disappointed that the waterfall wasn't flowing, but that was to be expected during the drier times of the year. If you really want to see the falls, show up after a good rain. Even without the falls flowing intensely, the sinkholes are pretty interesting.

“Fun waterfall”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012

An easy walk to a very different form of waterfall. The hiking trails were pleasant and the bugs minimal. The small lake looked like it would be nice to swim in.

“Small Park, Nice Camping -- The Real Florida”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2012

If you like sinkholes (and they are all over Florida) you'll find them here.

Now Florida is not known for waterfalls and by most definitions this isn't really a waterfall but when the rains have come and the water is flowing, it's kinda neat.

Check it out, it's worth your time to stop here even if for a short time.

“Wow, small park, but amazing waterfall.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

We drove the almost 2 hour drive to get to this state park, but it was totally worth it. It's a small park, but the sinkhole that the waterfall falls into is so deep it will take your breathe away. We were lucky and the waterfall was flowing, but its the many sinkholes that are amazing. There is also a small quiet lake in this park that you can swim in. There is a $5.00 fee per car to get into this park.

“See a bit of panhandle nature, a relaxing walk, and a nice place to tent camp.”

Very relaxing natural walk but don't be surprised if waterfall is just a trickle. Best time to go is after a heavy rain!
