We stopped by for lunch hoping to get lucky and we did. They were extremely busy but only had to wait about 10 minutes. Our waitress was wonderful as was the food. We had the house salad which I highly recommend and one of their house specials which was a stir fry with lots of shrimp, scallops, ham and chicken. The stir fry was very good and not at all heavy like some I have had. Our waitress brought us some soy sauce to add which it really did not need but I added a little to enhance the favor. This is the second time we have been there and it definitely will not be our last. I would like to go back at least a couple of more times while we are here to try other specials on their menu.

The 1905 salad is ridiculously good. Frankly, it could be an entrée. The rest of our food was 'ok'. The restaurant atmosphere was great but the service was just 'ok' too. All in all...I'd go back for the salad but everything else is probably not worth the trip.

This is usually our first stop after arriving in Celebration, FL...love the bread, sangria, 1905 martinis, soup, salads, mahi mahi, and the salmon. It's a friendly restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, and they have a tiny shop as well.

We had a party of 6 for afternoon dinner on Christmas Day. We were seated in the bar area far left where the seating is two rows deep and well lit by the late afternoon sun.
Drinks were a slow start to what we expected to be a longer slower meal. The Bloody Mary, their version of Bloody Mary & the piña coladas were alright but not worth going back for more.
Our girl had the black bean soup. It was great and sampled by everyone with the same conclusion. The 1905 salads for meals and appetizers had super flavor and are super-sized. These were a bit wet as the only drawback; moisture from the needed fast lettuce washing from all the business.
Two of us ordered the Christmas ham. We were treated. It was moist and flavorful. The side of candied sweet potato made us wish it was available as a main course.
One order of the shrimp was put away by our most finicky eater, who also liked the rice side tremendously.
Service was faster than expected.
We left doubly happy - didn't have to cook and the meal was pleasant or better for everyone. How many can say that about their Christmas dinner?

This was a Christmas dinner for 9. We've eaten here several times in the past and it was always excellent. This experience was subpar. Service was surly and rushed. The salad, usually noteworthy, was burned by the dressing. The "special" Christmas pork dinner was dry, as were the moros. I would go for back, but not on a holiday.

We are always pleased to hear from guests who have come back for another visit. I am sorry to hear that your meals had these issues. You chose to celebrate Christmas with us and we did not take care of you. Thank you for letting us know how we could have done a better job.
