This place sounded so much better in reviews on OpenTable and Trip Advisor that we were quite disappointed. It was an beautiful Weds evening and there were ncie tables facing the street as well as small patio in the rear. Too bad the patio seating there was so close to another restaurant's open deck - loud voices and screaming babies. The wine list was adequately interesting, with a selection of wines by the glass, however the food was incredibly uninspired, blah and worst of all, not wine friendly. The shrimp tempura wrap had almost no shrimp, which was just as well as they were heavily battered. All flavors were lost due to the generous slathering of sweet chili sauce straight from the bottle. A flatbread was almost identical except for an alternative delivery - naan, plus the same butterflied battered shrimp, cut in half to look like more pieces. A salmon sushi tower was amazingly bland- at times I could not tell if I was eating raw salmon strips or mealy tomato. Canned fried chopsuey noodles layered with more chili sauce and ripe avocado completed the tower. Since I could not truly taste what this fish was, I stopped after a few bites, afraid that I might get sick during vacation from this. The server did not inquire "how things were" when this plate was barely touched and my daughter's wrap picked open, but uneaten.
What an unfortunate waste of a lovely space and location - might be fine if I could bring my own food and drink their wines and use their tables.
