First, be aware that this restaurant is in the Cedar Cove Motel, the lower floor in the back. We were looking for the restaurant and came in the "back" door, the door facing the bay. A man came up to us and told us, with a severe "attitude" to go to the front desk and that he would seat us. Not a great beginning but we did as we were told. He asked if we had a reservation and seemed quite put out that we did not, even though the restaurant was almost empty and was never more than a fourth full the entire evening. He seated us about as far away from the view as possible, but we did have views of the motel pool with kids playing. So not exactly the best ambiance. Our waitress arrived very quickly and was pleasant. The man that initially greeted and seated us also seemed to be the bar tender. The wine list is quite nice with some great selections and is reasonably priced. We placed our wine order with him. The only wine complaint is that it was too warm, certainly not "cellar temperature." Two of us had salads and an entree and one had appetizer, salad, and entree. The waitress brought the two salads and the appetizer together. That was good. We all finished our respective course then waited and waited. Finally the waitress came over with the final salad and told us that our main courses would be right up. She mumbled something about the bartender failing to bring over the salad earlier. The main dishes were soon delivered. The pasta dishes were quite nice and it obvious that the pasta was home made and fresh. Nice. The other dishes were also good. We did have to work very hard to get any water during the meal. So, good food, but the service was poor and we did not need the poor attitude of the bartender. We probably would not eat here again.
