“Delicious food”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

The baked brie with mango chutney was out of this world - it exceeded my expectations! The bruschetta was very tasty as well. I ordered their special salad with bleu cheese and walnuts and I would advise getting the dressing on the side since there was too much but it still tasted good. Fiance got the seafood boil and while he was disappointed in the size at first, he had to admit he was totally stuffed afterward. Service was just ok, we were the only diners there and had to remind the server to bring our check because he was chatting with the bartender. There are no restrooms inside and the dining room definitely looks like it has seen better days - maybe 20 years ago. Bottom line the food was awesome but everything else was average.

“Gourmet? Ha.”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

Well, we were looking forward to trying the food here, had recommendations from a few people. First off, one of the wait staff was extremely loud on a personal phone call, arguing with someone and cussing, and the same person was getting ready for her shift in the dining room, spraying hair spray and also applying deodorant. Ridiculously over-priced menu, with small portions. Undercooked carrots in the "mixed vegetables", "house special" salad contained rotten and brown edged lettuce and greens indicating they were nowhere near fresh. "Southwest" zucchini and tomatoes were mush, looked like puree. The "duck confit" was flavorless, and improperly cooked. $24 for a "special" tilapia, which did have a decent sauce, but was way over-priced. Disappointment was in the air. Dining room was dirty, recent storm debris was still on their outside area, and the dining area wreaked of stale water upon entering. Should have left at that note. With at almost $100 for two people, it was a complete waste. The other reviewers must not know what gourmet food actually is.
