We always make a point to go to the pickled pelican for lunch when we are in Cedar Key. The kids menu is decent and the beer special is reasonable for grownups. The burger is pretty good. My kids dream of the key lime pie there!

The food was pretty good, the deck location was very nice, and the waitress was very sweet and helpful. I'd definitely go back.

We were strolling and looking for a place for dinner, when some customers exited Pickled Pelican and highly recommended it. So glad we took their advice. The atmosphere is casual like most places in Cedar Key, the menu varied (although plenty of seafood), and the staff exceptionally friendly, even though it was close to closing time when we entered. Our party of four tried the scallops, grouper, and shrimp scampi. We were all pleased with the taste and amount of food. Prices were reasonable.
