Six of us just had a marvelous homemade and fresh breakfast at Joe's. We were served a unique and tasty selection of omelettes, quiche, and grits. Excellent! A visit to Cedar Key should definitely include Kona Joe's! Thanks Joe!

We read the reviews on TA while looking for a place to have breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, excellent service and wonderful food. The host was most accommodating, bring in a table from outside, as it is unseasonably cold today. The coffee was great and we both enjoyed the wonderful blue crab quiche!

I just had the best crab cake sandwich I have ever eaten. Made from fresh crab, locally caught, served on a toasted croissant. Enjoyed a glass of fresh-squeezed lemonade while I ate on the back porch overlooking the marsh. Friendly service, big smiles by all the folks who work there. Well worth the stop.

Had the blue crab kitsch right out of the oven with coffee this m?morning. It was the special and delightful. It was served by Joe with his special hot sauce. That too was GREAT if you like a very little sweet followed by a flavorful hot. Very friendly and must try if you are into a good breakfast with an interesting view. We definitely would return for some more GREAT food and fabulously cordial service.

Kona Joe's for breakfast or lunch with something fresh and homemade from Edie is the perfect place to sit and watch the birds in the lagoon. Joe and Edie are the most hospitable people.
