What a great place! We have mad it a point on our last two Motorcycle trips, that this place is our final night stay on the way back to Apollo Beach. The hotel is so unique, little full rooms, with kitches built on the dock. Last year we stayed in one of the side rooms, this past July we made it a point to stay in one over looking the water. What a fantatic room, coffee on the porch watching the dolphins and fish popping everywhere. Cannot beat it! Diner at the corner closer to the pier is a great place for breakfast. We did dinner in the hotel the otherside of the boat ramp and it was way better than I expected. Another traveler told us about it.

This needs to be on your map if you can swing it.

Room Tip: Water view room for sure!

My boyfriend and I recently visited Harbour Master Suites for my 30th birthday weekend. It couldn't have been a more relaxing get away! We parked our car and never once had to move it. We were able to walk anywhere we needed to go and loved our room. We chose to stay in The Loft which was spacious and VERY comfortable! The staff was friendly and oh so helpful. We can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: The Loft is HUGE and very comfortable!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Harbour Master Suites! We were looking for somewhere special to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary and our stay in Cedar Key at the Harbour Master was the perfect choice. We stayed for 2 nights in the Corrigan's Reef suite. Stunning views from our private balcony. The only downside is one side of the room overlooks the restaurant next door. It was very quiet during the time we stayed so it was not a problem and closing the blinds on that side of the room took care of any privacy concerns. At a busier time of year this might be a concern as diners are seated on the restaurant balcony right next door. Everything you have read here in the reviews is true...the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Maid service will check on you daily to see if you are in need of anything but they do not provide daily maid service to make up the bed or clean the room. This was not a problem for a 2 night stay, not sure how that works for a longer stay. We enjoyed walking around the quaint town of Cedar Key. We found a small grocery store nearby and enjoyed all of our meals and snacks in the room. This was one of the most relaxing, pleasant three day stays we have enjoyed. Thank you Harbour Master...we will be back.

Room Tip: Choose Corrigan's Reef suite overlooking the water for an amazing view of sunrise and sunset fro...

You won't believe how gorgeous your sea-side view is in this most-charming and carefully appointed suite. Start your morning watching the sun come up, perched in your Adirondack chair on your private porch, while sipping your coffee. Then enjoy a relaxing day walking through the most laid-back town since Amity (without the great white shark).

Come back to your room for some quality play-time in a room that gently shouts "romance". Then have a martini or two just and easy walk down the street at Coconuts, while you watch pods of dolphin swim by the dock.

The reason I said "walk" several times is that parking is scarce on the street. So once you find a rare spot, don't move your car. Everything is close by anyway.

The most unfortunate part of the stay is that it is temporary. You simply won't want to leave this hidden paradise. Compliments not only to the Harbour Master staff, but to the whole town for their unusual friendliness. What a nice memory.

Room Tip: Ask for the Forget Me Not (although you can't go wrong with any room here.

After having extensively researched the many options to stay at, for a much needed place to just kick back and enjoy ourselves for a weekend, the HMS was a wise decision. Of all the choices to make, my wife and I chose wisely. The personnel are very gracious, amicable, cordial and wish to make sure you truly enjoy your stay. They recommended some great restaurants that we also enjoyed. The gulf views were fantastic sitting out
on the outside room's deck. Watching the boats, those that were fishing and the dolphins feeding in the morning-not to mention the fresh gulf breezes- the entire experience was just fantastic! But where did those forty-eight hours go? My wife and I left a bit saddened-being spoiled and all-but we intend to return.

Room Tip: Choose a gulf view room with a private outside deck.

Spent one night in Cedar Key on the way to another destination. Came upon these suites kind of by accident while walking on the docks. The staff showed me a couple of suites that I might be interested in and I selected Sunkissed as it was just me. The room was beautiful and I had a glorious view out the front windows plus a little table and chairs just outside the room to sit and enjoy the quiet and beauty of the gulf. The room was pristine and everything in perfect working order. Bathroom was immaculate. At this time of the year not too many people were around so everything was quiet and relaxing. Easy and secure parking right on the street in front of the place. The staff was very friendly and helpful and talked to me about some of the local places that I was interested in. Loved being able to walk around the town and then back to the dock to my room. Very very impressed and hope come back again! This place is truly a treasure!

Room Tip: All of the suites are wonderful and there are different sizes to accommodate your needs. Also cozy a...

Prior to heading to Gainesville for the Gator vs Kentucky game - we decided to take a side trip to Cedar Key. We arrived at lunchtime, ate some lunch and inquired about a place to stay for the night. Harbour Master Suites was recommended and right across the street so we walked over. We were greeted by an incredible staff and showed the available options. I was totally impressed with the suite, view, staff, and entire experience. Our stay was short but wonderful. Every shop and establishment was fantastic - the people incredibly nice which is rare in this day and time. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: Peeked at several rooms and loved them all. You must stay here when visiting Cedar Key!
