The Dockside Motel is the greatest place to stay at Cedar Key. The room we had overlooks the gulf, was very big, spotlessly clean, had thick towels, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, TV, kingsize bed, table and chairs to sit at, and a huge closet and dresser. The motel is right on the street but the rooms are upstairs and very quiet. There are wonderful restaurants across the street along with nice shops to visit. You can't get much closer to the water than this! All for less than $60!

We stay at the Dockside Motel every year. The rooms are big, clean, and have many extras. Also have a great view of the gulf and located next to restaurants, shops and the dock! Highly recommended.

We go to southern Florida and stay 3 of the winter months. Cedar Key is always a place we stay before we go on down. It is a quaint village full of friendly people and many sites to see. The food is great in all the restaurants and the shopping is good too. We have stayed in other motels but find we like the Dockside the best. The people that work there are really nice and the location is the best. The rooms are spacious and clean and the view of the Gulf is amazing. Always my favorite place to stay. The Suwanee Triangle Gallery located below the motel, is a neat place to shop and look around at their original jewelry and art peices. Can you tell I love this town?

We have stayed at the Dockside Motel several times and have always enjoyed our experience.
I could walk across the street and fish on the pier and my wife and I could walk to restaurants as well...
Each time we return we go to Dockside.
It has a great view of the Gulf and is very conveniently located.
And the rates are very reasonable...

We stayed here a couple of years ago and despite only staying for one night we had a ball. We got the upper corner room overlooking the dock and what a great view it was. We stayed out on the dock nearly all night watching the fisherman fish and the dolphins swim. Very quaint village with lots of beauty and the room we had was big and very nice.
I am coming back to this place for sure some day.
