“Nice Museum”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

Great and informative stop, well worth the $2.00 fee to get in. Nice museum with history of the island and the self tour though the house is really nice. Worth the little drive to get there.

“Interesting”
Reviewed September 18, 2013

Took a short drive to see the Park. They had a lot of shells and artifacts that were interesting. There was a large vat that was used to gather salt from the sea. The restrooms were clean and easy access for wheelchair.

“A Nice Addition to the Historical Museum”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

This state park and museum overlaps the historical museum a little bit (founder and earliest inhabitants) but it expands on the natural history of the area and the geography of it, as well as the native culture that thrived there for 1000s of years. Also maintains an original homestead staged as it was in the 1920s. Friendly ranger and very clean facilities. Admission is $2.

“Definitely Not To Be Missed!”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

This is another $2.00 well worth spent. They have a small red house to tour on the property. It has original furniture and artifacts. The gas stove in the kitchen is enviable even for todays standards! Make sure to check this out!

“Going for a visit served two purposes.”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

One, was to see the genuine little old house of an old time Cedar Keyer. The other, was to pass by most of the island on the way, but don't let me mislead you into thinking this was a long way, because it wasn't. Lots of pretty, and/or interesting looking houses, and stunning land/water scapes.

The museum entrance fee was just $2, which pretty much covers it, really not much to see, but depending on your disposition, worth doing.
