“Refreshingly classic”
Reviewed August 27, 2014

Like traveling back in time... and I'm not even old enough to have been alive back then! But it's got a very charming 1950's feel, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered 4 different sandwiches for lunch, and two shakes for dessert. The owner was a man of few words, but still very nice when talking about his time living in San Francisco and owning a restaurant there. One note: it's cash only.

“Best Coffee for a Thousand Miles”
Reviewed August 18, 2014

I frequently travel the forgotten coast corridor and am so happy to find custom roasted coffee and real espresso served. The nostalgic atmosphere and collections are amazing. What a great oasis for travelers, fisher-folk and holiday makers along the coast. This is my favorite place on the Big Bend!

“Great place.”

This place was really good. The roast beef special, with horseradish mayo was outstanding! They have good coffees, shakes, malts and espresso. If you're in the area it's a must try.

“Fun, funky and great Sandwiches.”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

This place is the best. Great selection of sandwiches, and a daily Blue Plate special. Sit outside and watch the town go by, and you'll probably end up in a conversation with one of the locals. Or sit inside and enjoy the collectibles on the shelves and the walls and let yourself get transported back to a simpler time. They even offer an Egg Cream, as well as cones and floats along with the sandwiches.
