“Sweet Hampton Inn and Suites Cape Coral”

Yes the hotel is under renovation. Hank and Dino at the front desk were very helpful with recommendations and directions. Some great eating places within walking distance of the hotel. Room was large, clean and comfortable, and serviced promptly each day. Breakfast was serviced promptly each day, and was well presented.

We could not get into the lobby as it was closed and being renovation. Directed to a side door. Floors all dusty from jackhammer ripping up tiles. Checked in in the back of some office. Jackhammers went on all day. No advance notice that this was going on. No opportunity to cancel reservation as we paid in advance. The most terrible experience we ever had at a hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel due to another hotel being sold out and it was horrible. I will never stay here again! The manager was always too busy to even deal with my issues. I left him several voicemails regarding my problems and he just kept ignoring them. I asked the desk if he was available and was told "His door is shut and that means we are not allowed to bug him"... ITS A HOTEL, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Never Agiain.

This hotel is not typical to the standards of a Hampton Inn. It is currently under renovation and I had to enter from a side door entrance as the hotel lobby is completely draped in plastic, etc. There were a number of young people, drinking, laughing, etc. gathered at the side entrance. It was not a good experience at all after traveling by car all day.

If you go to Cape Coral on the west coast of Florida I would stay in the Hampton Inn. A clean and quiet room awaits you, with friendly service and includes a nice breakfast. Close to many Florida Beaches and Sanibel Island. Then go visit the Everglades National Park just a short drive away. Key Largo and Key West will take a bit longer

We were assigned a room where the telephone was NEVER operable and no one made an effort to fix the problem. The worned carpets were ghastly looking with spotted areas on the carpet flooring throughout the hotel.

Nice clean Hotel with close proximity to Bars and restaurants, ask for Hank! They have a pool (not heated) and very small fitness center (no weights) free breakfast and helpful staff. The only thing is they allow dogs so your night sleep might be affected!
