Description: A few lines to introduce myself. My name is Al Whelan, I am from Boston and worked at a famous "waterfront dive" known as Kelly's Landing. A seafood business in a Catholic community with lines down the street, literally. I worked there for five summers and enjoyed every minute of it. My first date with the counter girl (she couldn't resist a man in a paper hat), my first kiss, etc. One rule was demanded, cooking with clean oil! In those days it was lard! Today we use canola oil both on the grill side and on the fry side... Most of our dinners are on the grill side. Fish shrimp, scallops, steaks, ribs, chicken and pork round off our menu. Our Irish Connoli is like a little piece of heaven and our homemade bread pudding is to die for. Both topped off with sweet whipped cream. We've added a 6000 square foot patio surrounded by trees. A truly private and romantic spot. Also some added features such as, a basketball cage, beer pong table and corn hole court.

Food and atmosphere very good. Service is spotty, although it was very good the night we were there because it wasn't crowded. The beer was very cold and the food was hot and cooked just right.

Have been away for a while. Despite this, the owner, Al, remembered us and treated us like long lost family. Everything was as great as always. Would recommend the fisherman’s platter, if you are really hungry and want a little of everything. Save room for dessert— Irish Canoli. Still the best!

We read reviews and chose this place for our early evening dinner on a Monday night. Al greeted us as we walked in and quickly began cooking some “samples” to taste. Sydney brought us the tablet menu and started oldie/Goldie music on Alexa. When Unchained Melody started we got up and danced! It was an eclectic dining area and we felt right at home. When ordering Al asked “well what do you want?” So we just told him and he fixe3ed ou platters accordingly. The food amount was huge and the fried items were so light. He said he uses clear Cannola oil fresh and he doesn’t use flour for breading. Also he doesn’t cook with salt so it is very healthy..
Don’t be discouraged by the outside presentation...you won’t be sorry you went inside to eat! Also if you’ve had a birthday within 6 day of your visit you receive $12.95 credit towards your dinner!! We were able to take advantage of that deal!! If we come back this way again we would surely eat here!

We went with 4 adults and 2 children and everyone loved their meals. Be sure to try the gator. Great place for kids. The chef is extremely friendly and outgoing making the dinner more fun.
