Simply read the other reviews - this place has only gotten worse over the last 5 years we've visited Cape Coral. We won't be back!

Me and my family have lived in Fort Myers for 7 years and have never made our way over to Cape Coral to try out the park, now that we have we will definitely be back!! Yes its a little run down in some areas but we found out it has been around since 1992, for how old it is the place was in good shape. We started with the batting cages and they had 8 cages with all different speeds so my son could try as well. Then let the kids play some arcade games, there was like two games that took 1 token each but when we told the girl at the front counter she went out, fixed the game, and gave us another token to use (so we never "lost" a token"). The had a classic game section that was nice because at chucky cheese they only have games that give you tickets to spend on candy and toys. We decided to try out the go-karts and found a pier they were building to feed the fish and turtles, wish it was done cause my daughter loved the idea! The go-karts were a blast!!! a little dirty, but so fun! We finished with mini golf.. that was a little run down and could use a little more attention but was still fun and the kids enjoyed it. Thought it was strange to see a bar advertised at the park but when we went by it was a very family friendly bar, we stopped for lunch. They had a pretty big menu for the size, i wasn't expecting much from it. Friendly staff both there and the whole park! The trip over all was great and family friendly!

I finally tried Greenwells with my husband and son. Waste of time and money. Very dirty and rundown and almost nothing works. As an amusement place, NOT. I did the same day find an Indoor batting cage inj the Cape (MNR SPORTS) that is perfect for the baseball player but no games. Very reasonably priced and very nice people. Definitely recommend .

Ive lived in the Cape for twenty years. Weve been taking our 5 and 8 year old for about 3 years. Ive been there off and on for 17-18 years. Most posters have hit it head on. It is well past its prime. Our last trip there was roughly half a year ago. We decided to throw in the towel after our 5 year old daughter got hurt not once...not TWICE, but THREE TIMES in one visit. Granted shes 5 but between splintered wood and uneven concrete, its truly an accident waiting to happen to anyone.
Some have said maybe for younger kids its ok. Yes, as far as they dont realize 50% of the games are STILL broken a decade later. The games that work are in SUCH poor condition. And really, after the 8th or 9th trip to the counter to retrieve lost tokens in games, it gets a bit tiresome.
The deal with the kids that work there is this. If they had a good day at school and that boy they like wrote a note back, theyre fine. If one of them got dumped just before the dance, LOOK OUT! They make no effort to hide their trashy, personal business.
And even if the kids enjoy the games, thats not much of a trade off, Your younger kids will love it! (Until theyre bleeding)
The bar on the mini golf course...If you enjoy having your wife leered at and comments made by drunk, wanna be gang member motorcycle riders, then this is the mini course for you!
Its time to level it and re-invest in a ground up rebuild or put a for sale sign on the land.
***For those wondering who Mike Greenwell is, he was an MLB player in the early to mid 90's. He still lives in the area and didnt just "put his name on it" or was "only there for opening day" He is still the owner and knows what goes on day to day. That makes it all the more confusing, he still has money and is physically close and involved in the business, but he clearly doesnt care.
Go to Zoomerz 30 minutes away.

we took our son for his birthday on saturday 3/29/14 and 4 friends. Bought them all a go kart ride and used a bogo coupon for each. Spent $36 for what would cost $72. Got out to the go karts and it was closed for the day because of rain. Went back inside to get a refund and our coupons back....to use later, since they sold us tickets to a closed attraction and they told us "no refunds" They knew it was closed and took our money anyway. Then kept it. um.... that's not gonna work for me. Filed a complaint with the BBB and FTC since they are ignoring my messages and attempts to contact them. TAKE YOUR KIDS TO ZOOMERS OR SUNSPLASH. The arcade games are crap, half of them dont work, the batting cages are garbage and the "safety equipment" for the paintball is held together with duct tape.
