“Authentic British Fish & Chips”
Reviewed September 21, 2012

After seeing this place at the top of Tripadvisor restaurants for Cape Coral the wife and I had to give it a try. We stopped in for lunch and it was busy with groups of local business people on their lunch break. The middle-aged Brits working behind the counter were friendly and seemed to know most of the patrons by name. We both had the fish & chips. The fish was very fresh, battered and cooked to perfection, crispy, moist and tender. The fries were some of the best I have ever had; a lot of that came down to the oil - there was zero aftertaste to it. They obviously keep their oil clean. The tartar sauce was OK, not the best, but certainly adequate. We'll definitely be back again.

“A great place to eat!”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

Pete's Fish and Chips in Cape Coral is so good! The portions that they give you are huge! The owners care about what their customers think and are real friendly. I will be back to eat there again. I wished they had a location in Fort Myers. Who knows about what the future may hold here?

“Great fish and chips”

Fresh. We get lunch from there. Suggestion: Make better tarter sauce. A little mayo and sweet relish goes a long way.

“Try Pete's Cape Coral FL”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

I am lucky to live in the Cape and have fish & chips of this quality available at a reasonable price. With a British heritage, I am quite particular about fish & chips and find Pete's to be the most authentic and the best in this area for British style food. I have dined there at least a dozen times and have never had a problem or poor quality.
Top quality ingredients make very happy customers. Plus the owners and staff care about there customers. They make you feel more like a friend than a customer.
Keep up the GOOD work.

“Over the top Terrific”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

My first impression was the friendly demeanor of the staff. My husband ordered fish and chips, I went for the shrimp. The batter is light and crisp, oh so authentic. The cod was firm and very generous. The chips had little bits of the skins left on and were fried to perfection. The shrimp were very large and delicious. We purchased a sausage roll to take home and it was also exceptional. This small family run restaurant is a rare find. We find ourselves craving it. Been here in SW Florida since 2003 nothing around compares to Pete's. This place takes "take out" to a new level. They also have a nice selection of beer, wine, soft drinks, etc. if you want to dine in with them, they have a few tables available.
