“Great Location, Cozy Atmosphere, Authentic Pie, Extraordinary Desserts!”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

The white pizza was absolutely delicious and the candied orange peel was the perfect addition to the cannoli. Molte grazie a Vinny e Mimi!

“Small space, big hearts, great food”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

White table clothes, friendly servers and Mama in the kitchen makes for a enjoyable dining experience. A friend recommended this place for good italian food and he was right. Great specials and a well rounded menu and desserts, even a newly installed pizza oven give you lots of choices. It is a B.Y.O.B, they don't have a liquior license yet. The food will take a while to get so have a glass of wine and an appetizer, the rice ball our favorite. It is not fancy and not many tables. Too long a wait for children and not able to handle large parties, would be my only negitive comment.

“decent food, slow service”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

My husband and I tried this place about 1 1/2 months ago. The few tables that were there were all up against the windows with little room to move around. The ambience was like eating in a cafeteria; Bright lights, tile floor. We were seated right away, but then re-seated to make room for another party about twenty minutes later. The waitresses were pleasant, but it took 35 minutes to get our salads. They appeared to be understaffed. My husband enjoyed his chicken parmegian and really liked their gravy (sauce). I ordered the spaghetti with oil and garlic with chicken added. The sauce had no flavor. My guess is that the garlic was overcooked (roasted). Would we go back? Maybe.....

“Pure Italian Experience”

Saves you the expense of the trip to Italy. Bring your own wine and share with mom in the kitchen. One of our favorites.

“Horrible Service - Failure to honor menu offerings because they "were busy!"”
Reviewed August 19, 2012

My wife and I visited this restaurant on 8/18/12 @ 5:30pm and had a horrible experience. For starters the "new" restaurant is small with 7 or 8 tables total and a bar area. While we were seated almost right away, the waitress (there were two of them) took over 10 minutes to bring us a menu and other 10 minutes to ask us for our order.

Since we were just "test driving" the food, we placed an order for 2 slices of pizza each, drinks and a salad. The menu said they sell pizza by the slice so that's what we ordered. The waitress placed the order with the owner/cook Vinnie Tumminello and we heard him tell the waitress "I ain't selling no pizza by the slices tonight!" The waitress returned to our table and said that she was very sorry but Vinnie said he's not going to sell the slices even though they appear on the menu tonight.

Since we were already served drinks she apologized and told us the coke was on the house. We were so disgusted that we traveled all the way from Estero to visit this new restaurant we simply left.

Our thoughts are that a restaurant should serve what's on its menu or take the item off. He had no reason not to serve slices as advertised on the menu AND IN THE NEWSPAPER yet he choose to disappoint a customer because he would rather sell a whole pie.

We will never return to the restaurant.
