Regarding the statement about children made in the previous post...this restaurant is in a hotel with nothing else nearby, in a rural part of Cape Coral. You need a car to go anywhere from the Westin. It is one of the few restaurants on the water (not canal) in Cape Coral. The hotel/property is FAMILY friendly. Cape Coral is not known for it's views, upscale properties or restaurants and the choices are limited. I lived in Cape Coral and have been to Marker 92 many of times, with and without kids.

This restaurant is great for upper-income individuals, foodies, special occasions, and fine dining. It is not really a place that accommodates children--and I am grateful for that. If you are entertaining ADULTS, do so. If you want to smusch kids into the mix--go to a national chain restaurant. (Please! We know you think your kids can go anywhere, but if they will only eat chicken nuggets and Mac n' Cheese, they don't belong in and up-scale restaurant!) The menu is well-done as is the wine selection. The décor and views are beautiful. The service is up-scale. Closest thing to "The Ritz" that we've found in Cape Coral.

First and last time we will be eating here. Birthday dinner on a Saturday night around 8ish. The restaurant was quite slow. Our server was nice with a very dry personality and a bit slow. We ordered two appetizer's, one being an egg plant something. It looked like a horrible cat food pate. I did not even try it. My friends were not impressed. As we were finishing our dinner we noticed our appetizer plates were still on the table. The main entrees arrived cold, but no one wanted to say anything. Two friends ordered the grouper special and liked it. One ordered the chicken alfredo. It was more like butter noodles with a very bland chicken breast, very strange dish. We had a good time, just not impressed despite all the hype. And to mention a very limited menu.

Head outside to enjoy the sunset on the drink and have a cocktail then head inside for a wonderful meal. trying to find a negative about the restaurant and all I come come up with is that it is off the beaten path and you have to be looking for it if you are not staying at one of the resorts nearby. Worth looking for though.

It was a nice place, & food was good, but pretty over-priced! Especially breakfast! I paid $15.00 for French Toast, & it wasn't even good! Dinner prices actually seemed to be more reasonable. Best part was the service! We had a great waitress every time!
