“Not a great spot!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2013

Service was fine.
The food was lukewarm.

The wine was a selection of white or red Oakleaf, nothing else was available.

The 3 of us had the special, prime rib: it was cold with a glaze/sauce on top, despite the very small pastic container of broth that came with it.

The potato was an old one that they added the toppings to and rebaked.

I had broccoli with hollandaise as a side. The broccoli was fine, not overcooked but the hollandaise turned out to be a cheese sauce similar to one you put on nachos, not the real egg yolk based hollandaise. I resent this type of misrepresentation on a menu.

Friend had mushrooms which were very black and awfully chewy.

Our visiting friend had asked for a spot where you could sit by the water and have a nice prime rib. We sat by the water allright but it didn't make up for the poor quality of the meal... guess you just can't have it all.

Won't be going back!

“Large portions”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2013

Jimbo's has a full menu with daily specials.
Not only is the food good but the portion size will leave you full. A lot of folks take home enough food for a second meal. I have tried a lot of things on the menu fro fish to steaks and have never been disappointed. One of my favorites is the chicken parmesian; sandwich or plate the portion size is huge. Don't forget the coleslaw or macoroni salad they make.
Theoutside seating is great. It is screened in and oyur located along a canal.

“Very generous portion.”

Ordered the fish sand, blackened. THEN, I read trip advisor reviews and thought I should have ordered a burger. BUT, the fish was fabulous, cooked just perfect. Good job!

“Great Place to eat!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2012

Three in our party ate the prime rib special (Saturday) which was out of this world! The other member had the shrimp which they say was real good also! The also have the largest selection of hamburgers I have ever seen on one menu! Mixed with salads, dinners, and baskets, this is the place to go for great food! You definately will not be sorry!

“Best roast beef club in Cape Coral.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 29, 2012

This place has been here a long time. I have eaten there many times over the last 13 years. I usually go for lunch and always get the roast beef club. It's big and great every time. They are on a canal so you can come by boat. They have indoor and outdoor seating with beer and wine. Lots of locals go there, but if you are a visitor don't hesitate. Go to there website and you can print a coupon before going.
