We spent two nights at the Radisson Resort at the Port in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Our check in was fast and friendly, the lobby is large and well appointed. There are sitting areas, bar and a Flamingos restaurant. The water falls pool is just outside as is the Tiki bar and gardens. This a sprawling older Florida hotel with over a six hundred rooms. There are nine connected section with two to six floors, having a map of the hotel helps you fine your and your way around. Our room 833 over looked the garden behind the pool. It was a very nice 2 star motel room with a very small but adequate bathroom and nice granite sink, microwave, mini fridge and a great sleep number king size bed, good WiFi and an older 27” TV. The room was very clean the furniture slightly worn and the bed was great! The star rating gives it three stars however any hotel that does not provided glasses and uses plastic should not be given the three star rating. The grounds, pool, meeting rooms and other amenities may be three star our room was a two. The microwave did not work a call to thr the desk had it fixed in ten minutes. Excellent staff and service all around. We had no problems with noise, security or the area. We booked the room on the Radisson website at a web special price of $77.35 at this price plus gold points it was a very good deal. We would recommend it for a nice get away or a one night stay before or after a cruise.

Spent several nites here this week. Had 2 rooms --a standard and a 2 room suite. The suite was extremely large and std was more than adequate with 2 reg size beds. Rooms were clean and cleaned well every day. Pool was heated and very nice. Major problem is noise transmission between adjoining rooms. When someone is talking in next room it seems like they are in your room---you can here every word spoken! Have never stayed in noisier hotel anywhere.

At the last minute, my husband and I decided to do an overnight get-away for Valentine's Day. Hotels.com had a great deal for less than $100.00. per night. We booked a two room suite which included a large in-room jacuzzi. The suite includes kitchen area with microwave, sink and fridge. At first, I felt uncertain about this part of town. The hotel is in an industrial area near the cruise ships, which seems to be why most people choose this hotel. It offers complimentary parking and shuttle service to cruisers. The parking lot is in need of resurfacing with lots of pot holes. The lobby is very nice and clean, and made a good first impression. Staff were gracious and attentive. The pool area is beautiful and well designed. We were sorry weather did not permit some lounging time near the pool. Our room was on the third floor on the back of the property. There are elevators. The room had a musty smell upon entering, but it wasn't too overbearing. At least it did not smell like smoke. The room is dated in decor. Florida style from 20 years ago, but it was clean. Some of the furnishings are well worn. The couch in the living room had a 2 inch hole in one arm. There was no lightbulb in the floor lamp next to the couch. The overhead fans are quite aged and dirty looking. The bed and linens were very nice though. They have "Sleep Number" beds which allow a remote control firming option to the beds which can be different for each person. Our room was quiet and comfortable and I felt safe here. Yes, the decor is dated and a little worn, but bathrooms and bedding felt very clean. Overall, for the cost, this was a nice get-away. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel but with some problems. We stayed in a 1 BR jacuzzi suite. I'll spell out the pros and cons:

Pros:
Beautiful hotel with beautiful scenery and landscaping
Great pool and jacuzzi
Indoor and outdoor bar
Big room with a sleep number bed
Free shuttle to cruise terminal.
Free parking during your cruise if you stay overnight before hand.
Non-smoking hotel

Cons:
Someone had clearly been smoking in our room. Everything reeked of stale cigarette smoke. YUCK. I had trouble sleeping because of the bad smell.
Cable TV is sketchy - they have problems with their lower number channels.
Uncomfortable pull out sofa.
Long line for buffet breakfast - appeared to be understaffed - we went somewhere else.

I will say that the hotel was very responsive to our complaint of cigarette smell in our room by giving us a good discount off the price.

Stayed here and used the "park and cruise" service prior to our cruise from Port Canaveral. Great location, very friendly staff with the exception of the restaurant and bar staff, and very well organized shuttle service to and from the port. The grounds and pool are a nice way to start vacation off right and felt very safe leaving the car in their long-term lot for the week.

Room was nothing special - standard hotel fare but was clean and functional. We got a good laugh out of playing with the Sleep Number beds but didn't think they were all that comfortable. If you are sensitive to noise request a room by the tennis courts - our room was by the pool and there was some noise up until about 10pm but it really wasn't a problem for us.

Skip the breakfast buffet - the service and food were bad and is the only thing I can see pulling this hotel down.

Reviews of this hotel on Tripadvisor are very accurate. Good location and very clean hotel. We stayed (2 adults, 2 teenagers) in a suite with 2 rooms. Small eating area is nice and 2 separate rooms are perfect. Layout of the grounds is nice and pool is large. We went to Cocoa Beach Pier and Disney for a couple of days. Short drive to Disney (1 hour) and 15 min to the pier. Tiki bar area by the pool had excellent service (and food) and checkin was a breeze. Had to get a roll-away bed because the pull out couch was too small for 2 teens. Called for it and it was delivered in 5 minutes!

Stayed here unexpectedly. Booked hotel an hour before arrival. Check in easy. Obtained a suite for $139. Quiet, comfortable, Disney-ish. Pool area was very good. Otherwise, nothing at all special about the hotel. Certainly not a resort or have any amenities, but only a place to stay before getting on a cruise ship which is what everyone we spoke with seemed to be doing. It is only a mile from Port Canaveral. Not go out of my way to stay here.
