“A dont miss if your into Space History”
Reviewed May 17, 2012

Almost hidden away this little museum is a gold mine. All sorts of Space history of Cape Canavaral and Kennedy Space Center, this is a great place to lose a couple of hours. A MUST do. And dont miss the gift shop.

“A lot of fun”
Reviewed April 30, 2012

This small museum is hidden away and a bit hard to find, but is chock full of rocket/missile information. It was interesting to see the artifacts up close.

“A Refresher Course of Space Milestones”
Reviewed April 17, 2012

Located at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, this one room museum will take you back in our space exploration history with artifacts of the different space capsules, warhead nosecones, Atlas and Titan rocket engines, a console from the blockhouse of Complex 19 and much much more. The museum is free and is outside the Security Gate. If you're near the port and have an hour to spare check it out; especially if you love anything space related. Don't forget to visit the Gift Shop that sells space items like patches, posters, key chains etc. They have reasonable prices. The day I visited there were 2 display cases of Liberty Bell memorabilia that was assembled from local donations. I had just been to the Liberty Bell Museum in Melbourne so this was very meaningful to me. A great rainy day activity.

“Cape Canaveral hidden treasure that even the locals don't know about”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

Here is a local hidden treasure that most of the locals don't even know about.
First of all, the price is right. It is free to visit the museum in the Spacex building. This is the only part of Cape Canaveral AFB where civilians are allowed. It is basically one large room with many artifacts from the old space race days. The old equipment and rockets are accompanied by videos for your education. There is a reasonably priced gift shop with lots of project patches and gift items.

I wouldn't make a long trip for just this but if you find yourself near the port of canaveral with an hour to spare then I do recommend that you drop on by.
