While visiting the state of Puebla, we travelled to Chipilo. This is a town with Italian roots, that still has traditional northern Italy language and traditions.
We found this little restaurant just at the entrance of town and we were delighted with what we found. It's a family owned restaurant with Italian food but the old style, plenty of food, well presented and delicious in flavor.
We ate Calamari a la Parmigiana, followed by pasta and Pork wish onion sauce and potato that I must tell you, it was better than the one I have tasted at home. (we have Italian background so I know what I am talking about)
Dessert, at the height of any other dish in the restaurant, accompanied with two expressos and 2 cups of anisette.
This restaurant will be one place to return, next time we visit Puebla
