A great spot to have breakfast or lunch - food is always delicious and fresh. Atmosphere is relaxing with views of the bay. Staff are friendly - terrific bakery with great bread and pastries made in house.

I have been here twice in the last week. Coffee the first time was burnt. When I asked for a small milkshake for my 7 year old I was told they don't make them. The second time we waited 30 minutes after ordering on a busy morning. We should have been alerted when ordering of the wait. There was no apology. Instead I have been to Goody's over the road....service 5/5. Coffee 5/5

Visited the bakery with friends, who lived in the area, for lunch a few minutes before 2:00pm. A late lunch admittedly.
After having a quick look at the blackboard menu which had some great choices we were informed the kitchen was closed and the only things available were pre-prepared in the glass cabinet. There was one or two savoury choices but mainly sweet. Not exactly what we had in mind.
The sign out the front said open for breakfast and lunch until 3:30pm but the kitchen closes at 2:00 pm???
We drove back into Hervey Bay without tasting what may have been a delightful lunch if the advertising is to be believed. We had an enjoyable lunch at the waterfront instead.

We planned to grab lunch in Burrum Heads, but there didn't seem anywhere very appealing, so we were delighted to find this gem in the tiny hamlet of Toogoom. As we parked, the chefs from the larger, beachfront Goody's were finishing a fag in the car park, but their clothes looked so grubby & unsavoury that we headed over the road to the bakery, and were absolutely thrilled to fine a clean, attractive and wholesome small venue, with a warm welcome. The light snack od a Quiche, with a portion of the most delicious bread pudding ever was served with apt of REAL tea (not bags). Head for the Bakery, next time you are inToogoom. Lovely.

Wow, did not expect a little place like Toogoom to have a fine artisan bakery like this. Having worked in the eastern suburb in Sydney, I am used to good bakeries and patisseries. This one is of equal standard. Wonderful and relaxing atmosphere, remarkably textured bread and unbelievably decadent sweet treats. Love the blueberry and almond tart, love the macadamia tart, love the freshly made raspberry and chocolate muffin when warmed. The breakfast is simple food cooked to perfection. The best omelet I've had for a long time, soft and fluffy as the cloud. Definitely worth the drive from Hervey Bay - only 15min max. There are 2 turn-offs to Toogoom from Hervey Bay. Don't turn at the first one, turn at Toogoom Rd and go straight to the bakery.
