Still a great place to go, but.. This year we really felt gouged...The admission isn't cheap to begin with. They sell drinks that are overpriced. You expect to pay a little more, but combined with the admission was ridiculous. To go with a family of four, just to get in and by one drink each can run close to $35. If you want a decent pumpkin and something to eat, it could easily become close to a $100 day.

That being said, the maze is awesome, and the kids had a blast. Just bring your own coolers and food, and it's all good!
Note that there are no bathrooms, but they have port-a-potties and hand sanitizer available.

Nice family farm, produce for sale. Special events include a maise through sunflowers & hayrides. Good "ole" time to be had by all.

I visited Sweetfields Farm this past weekend with my sister and boyfriend to pick some fresh fruits and veggies and to explore the sunflower maze. Only an hour or so away from St. Pete and South Tampa, this farm is a great family-friendly adventure for an afternoon. It was definitely more for the young crowd with its arts and crafts, playground and storyteller, but the sunflower maze, fresh fruits and veggie picking and the animals were fun for us (all in our 20s). The fruit and veggies are reasonably priced, and we had a lot more fun picking them than we expected! The corn was some of the freshest, most delicious corn I've ever tasted. I plan on visiting again when they seem to have more of a fruit and veggie selection...maybe in the fall?
