Decided to try this place on a whim, glad we did, from the time we got their to the end of the meal, this place did not disappoint.
Reservations are accepted, as long as they are made at least 2 hours prior to arrival, we got their later Saturday evening, no wait at that time. Everything, sauces to entres are made on sight by the chef.
Started off the dinner with Crab and corn chowder, thick, rich, everything a chowder should be, and, as a bonus, a ton of crab and large shrimp. Also tried the Tony's Onion Rings, very thin sliced spanish onions, lightly breaded, served with a sauce that was meant to compliment and not overpower the appetizer.
My wife and I then split the fried shrimp and crap augraten, very rich, made to order, by hand, both the sauce and the entre
The salads arrived after the entre, truly the only drawback to the experience, again, dressings made by hand by the owner/chef.
Finished the meal off by having the bananna cheesecake burito, wonderful end to a great experience, we will be back.

We live in the area and passed by this place often. The exterior didn't jump out at us and it is almost buried in the strip mall where it is located. BUT- once you sample some of Al's cuisine you will be hooked! We have returned a dozen times with family and friends and everyone we've turned on to this place raves about it and returns on their own!
Check out the special menus with original - and I mean original - courses and combinations of flavors from the owners. There isn't as a thing I wouldn't recommend!

My wife and I used to go to the Shrimp Boat Grill only for Alaskan King Crab legs and eventually were shocked that they no longer had them. This forced us to try some new items and I am glad we did. They have a stuffed grouper that you wouldn't believe.

Also, ever Friday night they have a deal on a gourmet menu that has to be eaten to be believed!!!

So, give them a go. I sometimes get the feeling that the family that owns it is struggling to keep it going with the economy the way it has been, but the quality has never gone down.

Had the soup, swordfish ( 11.99), and Grilled fish ( Talapia). Both meals were excellent. Beer was $1, and wine $3. This is a nice nautical restaurant with freah fish and very reasonable prices. Very Good Value!

I have had many meals there, swordfish and amberjack are incredible! The coconut shrimp with the piña colada dippin sauce is the BEST! Chowder is always GREAT! The tuna is thick and full of flavor! It should cost more! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!
