Drove to visit friends in Tampa and went here for dinner one night. The parking lot was terrible, beware as there are alot of potholes and majorly cracked pavement. The outside of the restaurant looked like a sports bar, but the menu looked appetizing.
My friends were pleased to hear about the $1 Killian beers! We ordered the popcorn crawfish and fried calamari for appetizers. It took forever for them to arrive. Our server was really nice and apologized because there was a large party that ordered right before our order went in. The baskets of fried appetizers were HUGE! The batter was tasty and didn't overpower the taste of the crawfish or calamari.
For our meals, my friends ordered the scallop basket and a crawfish po boy. I ordered a shrimp po boy. The po boys come with fries and coleslaw, the coleslaw being quite yummy. Can't say the same thing about the fries though. The po boys were pretty good and filling. The scallop basket was full of bay scallops, nicely breaded and fried. Those were good too. The baskets come with awesome hushpuppies, coleslaw and fries. We were too full for dessert.
This place is worth a try, especially if you like beer and seafood. Just be ready for a small wait on your food.
