After trying LC's for lunch last month, we agreed to attend their Valentine evening, private invite supper club. How could you argue at $95 per couple? What we didn't know was how much fun we would have.
We arrived at 7:30pm as requested. there were just two tables setup, seating three couples each. The room was nicely decorated, and we were the last couple to arrive. After making introductions, the fix menu dinner began.
We started with champagne on ice. The appetizer was medium sized stuffed mushrooms with salad on the side. Very lovely, and delicious. We then moved to the soup course - which was a pimento tomato soup with red pepper.
About this time they brought out their blackberry sangria. The main course was a fabulous filet that was cooked to perfection as ordered (medium rare), bearnaise sauce and grilled asparagus, with a side dish of sweet & white mashed potatoes that were then baked in ramekin style bowls.
We finished dinner with pineapple cheesecake server with custom dipped strawberries, and freshly made French pressed coffee. We left nearly three hours later, having made new friends, and waiting for their next supper club experience!!!.
This is a wonderfully different style dining. If you love to go to B&B's to meet others, then this suppler club needs to be checked out!
Please note - during the day this is a breakfast/lunch restaurant. They only do the supper club on a limited, scheduled basis. My ratings for things like being kid-friendly is based on the evening supper club experience, and not their daytime service.
