Stopped in at the Beachhouse for lunch and if I was rating the seafood only I would have given it 5 stars. We ordered the Seafood Au Gratin and the Scallop Plate. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious, as well the warm Pina Colada bread that we were served. Rice and asparagus came with the Seafood Au Gratin and both were barely warm. French fries and cole slaw came with the Scallop Plate (8 scallops) and these sides were good. I had a dirty knife so not happy about that either. Brought that to the attention of our server, David, and he quickly replaced it. He was very nice and provided good service.

Here was the weird part....a blond manager came out and stopped at the table next to us, occupied by two men, and asked how their meals were. Then she walked right past us onto the next table, also occupied by two men and asked them how their meals were and then came back with two to-go cups of iced tea. If she was going to start asking people how their food was she could have asked us and offered the iced tea too so I thought that was rude, Aside from that, we would definitely eat here again. You really can't beat the view since you're right on the beach and it's very relaxing.

In this restraunt you are definatly paying for the setting and not the food.
The service is very good but the quality of the food is very poor. I had coconut shrimp, which to be honest were over cooked and dry. My main meal of fried fish was even worse, i dont know what type of fish was used, but it was tasteless and slimmy with an over cooked coating. However, the sunset from our outside seat was breath taking.

Dinner, atmosphere and service excellent. It is never a disappointment. We have been for lunch, dinner and sometimes just for Happy Hour, when appetisers are great value and we love the coconut shrimp.

Went there for dinner on our last night on Anna Maria. The calamari appetiser was delicious. Eventhough it was a huge portion my husband and I finished it all ! Then came their piña colada bread - mmm lovely warmed up ! For our mains, I had blackened grouper and husband had the swordfish special. They were both outstanding . And to top it all, we had a great view of the sunset. Couldnt't fault the whole evening at all. Will definately go next visit.

We stopped by at this restaurant during our spontaneous road trip to Sarasota and we were pleasantly surprised. We were seated promptly outside outdoor seating on the sand with a beautiful view of the ocean. We ordered a ceviche (which was one of the best we've tried in the united states despite it was missing some more lemon), a mojito (fabulous), and the catch of the day (which was well cooked and seasoned grouper). Overall the service was friendly and the food was delicious (I am very picky). The complimentary pina colada bread and the sight of dolphins jumping out of the ocean were definitely the cherry on top.
