Let's start with the best part. After writing dozens of reviews, we have never mentioned a particular server. So, this is a first. Ask for the perpetually smiling Bobbi who will certainly delight you and enhance your dining experience . There is only one problem. Bobbi is seven and a half months pregnant and certainly will be gone for some time as a new mother.

Now to the most important part of a review: The food and amiance. All good. Locals will particularly appreciate the serene atmosphere that provides a perfect background to very good food. Seafood predominates but there are many dishes for someone seeking heartier fare. We particularly enjoyed a seafood risotto, which could also be classified as somewhat hearty.

The Gulf facing balcony provides beautiful views of sunsets and is an oasis itself. Go and be prepared to be pleasantly surprised.

We love this place. Last time we were there, we sat on the second floor with a nice view of the beach across the street. We shared an appetizer special (really good scallops), a salad, and an entree special (seafood in a creamy sauce). The server gave us the option of having the kitchen split the entree for a nominal charge which we did. The seafood was perfectly cooked and the sauce was yummy. The seving size was just right.

To begin with we requested a table on the outside deck (3rd. Floor) which was just beautiful and overlooking the Gulf. Wait staff was very attentive . Good selection of wine . Both my wife and I had the same entre "Grassy Grouper" Ucon Gold mashed potatoes with partial skin left on. Underneath four perfection done sprigs of asparagus. The grouper on top of the potatoes. Then cooked spinach. Four large shrimp arranged around the plate . Topped off with a lime ver blanc sauce. It was wonderful !

WOW! We definitely saved the best for last! We sat outside on a wonderful evening as we watched the sun set and the street life below while experiencing the best food of the island! Hubby and I started with the gumbo soup and goat cheese beet salad--fantastic! Then our wonderful waiter "Brian" suggested, to me, grassykeylime grouper (hope this is the correct title). Fabulous!!! I don't remember what Hubby had but I know he enjoyed his dish too! Don't visit AMI without a visit to this gem and remember it is not on the ground floor!! take the elevator to the third floor.

Three Floors up overlooking Bradenton Beach. The Bistro has great outdoor seating, but unfortunately too windy on the evening my wife and I went. We both had grouper, excellent food. This is a white table cloth kind of place, a little too fancy for my beach vibe, but I'd come back for the view. Looking for a romantic spot on the beach that won't break the bank, Bridge Street might be the spot
