I had read this was in the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the US but I found it very average. The ribs were very good and the dumplings, for which they are famous were just average in my book. They were light but lacked flavor and certainly weren't anything you couldn't get at any chinese place or Asian , for that matter. The spicy shrimp dish did not disappoint on the spicy scale but it wasn't all that flavorful. The sautéed spinach was very chewy and had lots of stems making it bitter and tough.
The service was not good at all. The waitstaff seemed very disinterested and therefore very slow.
But in a pinch, if you're craving Chinese, this will do the job.

This was a top notch chinese restaurant from 2003-2008. The owner sold out due to change in the area. clientele. This place is just resting on her name and brand. The owner is arrogant and not customer friendly. They are using cheap ingredients in food. The chef is good enough for a salad bar. My family stopped going there few months ago and walked out after the food was undercooked and tastless. The seafood is terrible. Go into Boca better food, dont waste your money.

This restaurant advertises itself as "New York taste". While the dumplings are good, the other items we had were not. The spare ribs were not "fall off the bone", and the beef chow fun was tasteless with the noodles stuck together. The waitperson was very personable and service fast.

We arrived at 9:15pm after checking the Google site which stated that they were open until 10:00pm. We were immediately sat and before they even took our drink order the server was asking us if we knew what we wanted. We ordered soup and appetizers and the soup was brought out and 3 bites into our soup the appetizers were brought to the table. At that moment we mentioned to the server to please hold on our entrees and she said that the kitchen closes at 9:30pm. Granted this is a Saturday night and there were at least 5 other tables still seated and eating and there was no need to rush us out. 5 Minutes after getting our appetizers the entrees came out. Not only were they bland, but our server just walked by and laughed and said "sorry, I did not know that they were coming out already." We mentioned to her our frustration with it and she pretty much brushed us off. We took a couple bites of the entree and the food was flavorless. We decided to have our food packed up to take it home because it just wasn't worth sitting there as they are moving tables and cleaning up around us. Our check was brought to us and then our server disappeared and we had to ask one of the bus boys to find her for us. (so much for rushing us out) After paying the check and tipping 18% we went to speak with the manager to inform him of our negative experience. He however made it ten times worse with his attitude to the situation. All he did was make excuses, he then proceeded to tell us to hold on a minute, walked away and when he returned he assisted two other customers and then came back to speak with us and I assure you they were not short staffed as 3 people were standing in the same area as the manager doing nothing. Once we spoke to the manager again he presented us with an attitude and said "whatever" when we were explaining how we felt. We will NEVER go back there again and strongly advise others to consider other places to go.

The food was good & plentiful. Enough leftovers for another meal. Their dumplings are fantastic. It's a very popular place, so reservations are suggested especially in season.
