“The Best Service We've Ever Had at a Carrabba's”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013

We came here today because we were celebrating my birthday with the kids. The service was wonderful. Our waitress explained everything very clearly and knew a lot about the menu. She was able to explain the difference between various dishes, which helped in our decision making. The servers all seem to really help each other out, and seem to have a good rapport with one another. At least, that is what I saw as a customer. Typically Carrabba's service is good, but the servers here were especially good, especially our waitress.

We really enjoy the food at Carrabba's. I personally love their chicken dishes. I got one of the seasonal specials they have, which is where you can select one item from three categories. I had chicken bryan, mezzalunna and fettuccini alfredo. The Italian salad was very good, with a nice variety of toppings. My husband had Caesar salad and they added anchovies per his request. The family always enjoys the bread and oil dip and she was good about bringing out more bread, which they enjoyed. The chicken bryan was delicious, as was the fettuccini. I liked the mezzalunna, but not as much as the other items. It had a tiny bit of a kick to it. My husband had a seafood pasta dish, and really enjoyed all of the seafood in it; he said it was a bit heavenly seasoned. One daughter had chicken fingers and broccoli, and enjoyed it. The other daughter had ravioli. It didn't look like a very big portion, but she couldn't eat it all. Our son had a regular sized pizza. He is a growing teenage boy, but did have two pieces left. He said it was very good. We had a coupon for a free dessert, so we got the chocolate cake with sweetened cream. It was like a dense cake or brownie, with slightly sweetened cream and warm ganache poured over top. All five of us ate it, and it was pretty rich. I didn't even want more dessert when I got home.

I think that the value is very good. I cook at home a lot, so the prices always seem a little high to me in restaurants. However, they don't charge extra for the salad, and they include lots of bread, which makes a difference in the value.

The atmosphere is nice. It was very dark in the restaurant. The tables are fairly close, but because it's so dark, you don't feel as close to others as you really are. You can eat outside, which is nice on a cooler evening. It's not really romantic, if you are looking for that.

It's great for children. There were only a few kids there, but the servers were very nice to our kids. They have plenty of options on the kid's menu, which cost about $6.50. The kids that were there were well behaved (mine included) but because the sound level is a bit high in general, chatty kids probably wouldn't cause a problem.

“worst Service ever experienced”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2013

Waiter served appetizers a and entrees at the same time, after a long wait. Table of 8, we almost had to put the food on the floor. Too bad I wasn't doing the tip.

“Very Disappointing!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

We've been Carrabas regulars for quite some time. decent food for the right price. Tonight was the first time we've had an absolutely unacceptable meal at Carrabas. Three of us ordered the special trio dinners. The sirloin steaks were virtually inedible - tough and overlooked. The pasta and mezzaluna were overpowered by pepper. The salmon didn't taste fresh and was very dry. We couldn't get our server's attention for quite a while. When she finally came to our table she started to ask if everything was ok but moved on before any of us could reply. When she returned with the check we had already agreed that we'd not return to this Carrabas. Customer service at Outback, a "sister" restaurant puts Carrabas to shame!

“"AVERAGE AT BEST"”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2013

Our visit to Carraba's was disappointing. The food quality and quantity was just "ok"" and really not worth the price. They were not all that busy and the service was average, at best! I would not recommend this place!

“We miss out waiter Becky!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

Becky used to be our waiter, Robert is really good too, Becky is no longer here, today was very disappointe, the server did not explain the special, we ended up with 4 pastas, one pork chop, and an Italian classic, then the waiter says, don't worry about the order it happens all the time, yeah, specially when the waiter does not tell you about it!
They did not serve all the food at the same time, the waiter poured the whole bottle of wine in 2 glasses all at once, and then asked? Do you want another one?
Really, very unprofessional!
Any way, the service on a restaurant is very important, we will have to re-think About coming back, which it is a shame, we have been coming here for the past 3 years.
