“Good relaxed place to eat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2011

We always visit the British Open. Not because we come from the UK that is not our style. Usually we stay clear of UK/Irish establisments and look for local food. the food is really Americain presented with a little bit of British lingo. However the food is reasonably priced, the service is good as is the food' The cod sandwedge (their spelling) is excellent. Real Cod and well cooked. The other entrees are equally good.
The atmosphere is good with the choice of inside or outside eating plus bar with very freindly barman.

“Never had a bad meal.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2011

They have an outside bar and patio for eating which is great for those warm Florida nights. Their food is always right on the money and reasonable. Their chicken mushroom pie is out of this world. Not on the menu but you can ask for it is their beer battered jumbo shrimp. Ask for the roasted red potatoes with instead of the fries. Absolutely delicious. If in Bonita don't miss this place!

“The only thing missing was the royal family”

The decor and food is all about being british! Really good sheperds pie, corned beef and cabbage, with lots of potatoes and carrotts.

“Decent food, great service, nice atmosphere?”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2011

Recently went for a quick dinner. Sat outside on a nice evening in Naples which was nice. I had this fish and chips, which was good and another at the table had the fish special which was liked. Great big portions, but generally not spectacular. The service was excellent. By the way, we had the baked Brie appetizer, and that was not spectacular. The Brie could have been more mature, but that is a personal taste.

“True Traditional British Pub”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2011

I am always on the look out for a traditional British Pub and I have found one British Open Pub.
My wife and i enjoyed the authentic deco with a feeling of been in the
British Isles. The price was reasonable and the food is what you get in a pub. My wife had the Fish & Chips and I had the Pie filled with cheese, broccoli & chucks of chicken. It was delicious and very hot, i would visit again whenever in Bonita Springs. Thanks for bringing a true British Pub feeling to America.
