“Barefoot beach, just walk and listen to the waves”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

No loud speakers, no drinking , just people who like to listen to the waves, and shell until the end of the day, You are able to walk to Doc's restaurant at Bonita beach if they want great wings and cold beer in less than an hour.

The mansions on the drive in are wonderful viewing. You cannot expect to have such a lovely facility for free do U?

$8 for a day's entertainment, if you plan ahead, is a darn fine deal. (Parking is limited)

The food truck is a new addition which I have not tried out but I see happy people walking away.

“Great Beach”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

We went everyday of our visit. Plenty of parking, doesn't feel cramped, shells on the shore, powder sand. Perfect.

“Clean beach with limited amenities and muddy water”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

This beach is very clean and not that crowded. The shells are beautiful, however, it is hard on the feet so take good shoes. The water is muddy not clear like Carribbean water. We saw lots of birds but nothing else. We waited a long time for someone to show up to rent an umbrella and chairs. No one ever came (it was the stand by the restrooms). Restrooms are clean.

“Beautiful beach”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

Like all of the Gulf Coast beaches, this one is gorgeous. Parking is a bit pricey if you are only stopping by for an hour, but if you plan on spending a bit more time it is well worth it.

“What a beach area should be.”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

There were three areas to park after driving through what seemed to be a very large and expensive gated community. There was only a very short walk to the nice warm sand. A few tortes were observed in the parking area. Collier County Beach permits were accepted.
