“Amazing!!!!”
Reviewed June 10, 2012

Stunning open beach with shells and clear blue waters nestled against grove of mangroves. So private and pristine. Our favorite beach-so worth the $8 entrance fee.

“My favorite beach in the Naples area.”
Reviewed June 8, 2012 via mobile

I love this beach! It is a bit of a drive from Naples but worth it. It is accessed off of Bonita Beach Road. Great swimming, interesting shelling, nice ammenities (boardwalk from parkinglots, foot showers on boardwalk, concession food, picnic areas, beautiful butterfly garden, boat rentals, great naturalist talks at posted times, and beautiful and interesting nature trail behind the beach). You can make a loop walk by walking south down the beach to Wiggins Pass and then taking the nature trail back - bring shoes for the trail part. Nice natural setting, granted you have to drive through an outrageous development to get there, but once there, there are no big highrises directly behind the beach! It is a Collier county beach, so you will need to have a Collier county beach parking sticker to park there for free, or you will have to pay the entry fee, which is currently $8. Ospreys usually have a nest or two along this beach in the spring. Gopher tortoises are around the area, park signs warn people to check for them under their cars before pulling out of the parking lot, as sometimes they go under cars for shade. Signs also warn people not to put gopher tortoises in the water, they are not sea turtles, they are land tortoises. A great beach for swimming and regular beach going activities, and also a great beach for those who appreciate nature.

“A Lovely Beach”
Reviewed June 3, 2012 via mobile

A fantastic beach with pristine sand that gets crowded in season. Visit in the off season when the tourist have returned to their northern homes. If you're a sheller take a leisurely stroll to the southern end to find the most beautiful and rarest of sea shells.
And keep an eye open for the turtles that like to use cars for shading.

Nice beach, go there all the time. Great place to find shells, walk in the water or just loaf on the sand
