Description: Enjoy gorgeous fountain and lake views from the screened porch of this Florida inspired seafood restaurant. Jutting out over the water, Tarpon Bay has a beach cottage vibe, where colorful lanterns keep watch over each table and a palette of soft turquoise and creamy beige complement the lush gardens just beyond our doors. Our chef infuses the freshest seafood with innovative combinations of herbs and spices for a truly memorable meal, designed to match the fresh and lively scenery. Find a seat at the inviting bar for a drink, while enjoying fantastic live music on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday mornings. You'll be in for a truly memorable experience.

The perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or have a romantic dinner. I'm a huge fan of Tarpon Bay's ceviche bar which features fresh Snapper, Grouper, Conch, Shrimp, Salmon or Tuna ceviche accompanied by an assortment of flatbreads, plantains and tortilla chips. If you like oysters, they usually have a selection from three or four different appellations. We ordered the Blue Points which came out served with crackers, horseradish, cocktail sauce, tabasco and fresh lemon. The Norman Love dark chocolate seashell served as a post-dinner parting gift is also a nice touch. While the prices are on the higher end, you get what you pay for when dining here. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Estero/Bonita Springs area. Highly recommended.

This is a pricey place to dine but it's worth the money. We had some of their ceviche which is what the waitress said was their specialty. I can't rate this because it was the first time I had it but I will say the flavors of the grouper ceviche was good and bold. We also tried their oysters and they were fresh. For the main course I ordered the seafood pasta. The pasta was freshly made and the seafood was decent however my shrimp were tough/overcooked. My boyfriend ordered the pancetta wrapped grouper. He said it was delicious and it must have been because he finished every morsel. If all that wasn't enough I ordered dessert - chocolate lava cake. Wow, that was just perfect with a nice gooey center. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She had tried much of the menu and could give personal recommendations.

Freshly prepared food, very attentive staff, cozy spot within the hotel grounds. For special occasions, you can dine in the Captain's Room, a private room that seats just your party, and gives you total privacy.

Do not miss this restaurant! It is pricey, but the portions are big & cooked to perfection! I enjoyed the grouper, while my husband ordered steak & they were both over the top!
