“Hidden treasure in Bonita Spring. The best restaurant in our whole trip to Florida!”
Reviewed April 13, 2012 via mobile

It was our third choice and instead we found one of the best restaurants in the whole region. Food was great. You could see love and art in it. Also service was attentive and accurate. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. Should we go back to the area we'll certainly pay Roy's another visit.

“Pretty Darn Good”

Not as good as Manhattan Steakhouse, but still a pretty good place to spend an evening.

“Yum”

We try and avoid chains but somehow ended up here for dinner...and what a treat. The food was delicious. Lobster Dumplings as an appetizer! Was happy from the start.

“Fine Experience”
Reviewed April 1, 2012

Roy's is the Hawaiian Fusion style creation of celebrity chef Roy Yamaguchi. Service was friendly, personalized, with good knowledge of menu and food and wine recommendations. Of course we had a Mai-tai to start; brilliant and delicious. My wife and I split the seared tuna. This was evenly seared with a light peppered crust and absolutely delicious. I got the butterfish which was moist, fork tender, and delicately matched with a teriyaki glaze, very nice. My wife was craving braised ribs which were good, but she wished she got seafood; all of the seafood plates we saw looked fantastic. Dessert was pineapple upside down cake. This was outstanding.

I must say that we had an underwhelming experience a few years ago at Roy's in Hawaii/Lahaina; restaurant was overcrowded, service was slow, uninspired and attitude laiden, and the sushi plates were warm and soggy. We swore we wouldn't go back at that time. However, we are very pleased with our experience at the Bonita location and will return if given the chance in the future.
