This is a wonderful location and the property is beautiful - great pools, superior rooms, wonderful restaurants and bar,- a great location to relax after a busy day or just hang out at one of the pools for the afternoon. Service was upscale - clean well maintained rooms, helpful staff and we felt very welcomed.

Room Tip: Request a room facing the coast and with a balcony for a very nice view and wonderful sunsets.

Dear Deanna, thank you for a great review. Spring Training is a very special time here in Southwest Florida and we love welcoming Red Sox fans from Massachusetts. Our location as the closest resort to the airport and jetBlue Park at Fenway South makes it very convenient for baseball fans to enjoy the game and all of the amenities offered here at the resort. We hope you'll stay with us again next year, we look forward to welcoming you back.

I've been coming here for business conferences for years... And it's one of my favorites.... It's a smaller hotel set off the set path.... Pretty much, every room has a view of green... And especially on the south and western sides, the bay, and in the short distance, the Gulf. This is not a beach front property. However, the whole place has a relaxing and calm "feel". If your are looking for an crazy, up frenzy... This ain't your place.

The front desk peeps are friendly and very accomidating.

Big hint - lots of self parking! And it's free. And NOT a mile a way! In fact, when you drive up and turn into self parking, make an immediant left into the underground garage. There is an elevator that takes you to the lobby --- and the doors to the elevator open automatically - not a problem when rolling your luggage - walking distance from the elevator to the front desk and the walking distance from the front door to the front door is about the same....

The rooms have been updated. There is no mini bar. However, there is a small- and it's SMALL- refrigerator. They all have a balcony - some only have a juliet balcony - most have a couple of chairs and a table.
The beds are a little hard... And the pillows are small and mushy... I like larger, plusher pillows, so it took four to five pillows to be somewhat comfy. The TV station choices are so-so... Pay per view is $18.... There are lots of outlets in the room.... Mostly near the bed - i counted two on each side of the bed (my room had two queens - however, They felt more like a double) the ice bucket was large.
The room service menu is small. Don't order anything for fancy than a burger - it's not worth the money or the room service fees. There are several restaurants in the hotel that are good. The Mangroves bar is good... The bartenders are super friendly...There always seems to be several locals sittin around the bar too....
Bonita Springs is mosty older... Especially during season. So expect the surrounding restaurants to be filled with lots of snowbirds and seniors. There's lots of shopping around. This area is mostly residential and geared to that.

If you want a relaxing getaway... Great views... With a great spa... Smaller hotel... Attentive staff.... And a small drive to the beach....? Come here...

Green Features: They have dual recycle trash in the room.... And they offer if you want new sheets... Or just to remake your bed..... There's a big note in the room to explain their practices

My husband and I, along with our two young daughters, recently stayed at this beautiful resort to celebrate our birthdays. This hotel is amazing and went beyond our expectations. The atmosphere is relaxing, amenities are very clean and modern and the service was outstanding. I really cannot say enough about the level of service we received by every single person we encountered as they were all attentive and personable. The woman at the check in desk even sent a plate of chocolate covered strawberries to our room in celebration of our birthdays and gave us a nice room with a view. We rented a car with the intentions of taking a few day trips to Naples and Sanibel Island, but we just couldn't get ourselves to leave this property. For five days, we essentially did the same thing. Ate breakfast at Tanglewood or Cool Beans, take the ferry to their private island until late afternoon and return to the kids pool until sun down. We ate our dinners both on and off property and enjoyed all of our meals. We really enjoyed taking the ferry to Big Hickory Island, a secluded paradise. The 15 minute ride was always an adventure as we would encounter dolphins every morning, even a few that would frolic in the wake of the boat....a highlight of our stay. We also had several sightings of bald eagles. The secluded beach was heaven to me. You didn't have to fight anyone for a lounge chair or an umbrella, the bathrooms were well maintained, the views of the blue water were amazing and we had a lot of luck finding various local sea shells. From numerous sand dollars to large conch shells, we had buckets of souvenirs to bring home with us. Be aware that there is no food or beverage service on the island. If there were, I probably would have stayed out there until the very last ferry departed at 4:45. The hotel does offer various activities such as golfing, fishing, kids activities at the pool and sunset cruises but we were perfectly content with just going to the beach and pool during our entire stay. There is also a large mall nearby with nice shops and a SuperTarget which is a great place to pick up any food or essentials you may need. Our intention of this trip was to relax and escape the frigid temperatures of the Midwest which was definitely accomplished by staying here. We will return!

Green Features: I appreciated the hotel's constant attention to conservation of the environment.

I had a quick one day trip here in February and hadn't been to the resort in several years. WOW the room renovations were great. I really love this place everytime I visit. It's quite, upscale, has great views of the water, amazing service and some great restaurant options. On this trip, I was able to take their private boat out to their private island and beach. It was pretty nice and I'm so glad that I did. The boat is actually included in the cost of your stay and we saw dolphins on the ride out there. As for the other amenities, I didn't have a chance to go down the water slide or hang by the pools but they definitely looked nice. I did have a chance to visit the spa and was very impressed. Nice locker rooming, great steam and pool. Service was nice and I really enjoyed it. As for dinner, we went to Tarpoon's and had a wonderful meal. Service was top notch and the oysters were great. All and all, I love coming to this resort and hope I'll have more time on my next visit to play golf and lay by the pools.

Room Tip: Ask for a full balcony and enjoy the sun.

I am here now! It's amazing! The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful! The only suggestion I have is stay away from rooms by the elevators! Loud swishing noice ,,,they did send a sound machine up to try And block sound out but didn't do the trick! Will definitely be back though! Beautiful grounds and best beach ever!

Room Tip: Away from elevators!

If your traveling with friends or family stay in one of the 2 bedroom timeshares. The second bedroom is in a separate hallway which gives you privacy. The units are very comfortable and well appointed.

So much to do. Don't miss boat trip out to their own island. Pools and lazy river are spectacular. Great place to take the kids!
