Spent a week here on business and this is a very nice property. Great location, restarants, pools and rooms. Nice marina on the bay, an easy 5 minute drive to the gulf. Good nshopping and golf nearby also.

Room Tip: Rooms on the west have awesome sunsets and views of the pools.

My wife and I recently stayed at this location and we were extremely impressed. You would never expect to find a 5-stars resort hotel in the middle of a small town like Bonita Springs. This is the perfect place if you want to rest and forget about everything else in life. Great location for a retreat and at a good price!

Room Tip: They put us on the 11th floor and the room was quiet and the view sensational.

I wrote a glowing review of this resort last year; we went back this year with high expectations. They were unable to place us on the Concierge Level (the Lounge was having a "make-over") so they upgraded our room . The room (1325) had an awesome view !!! Just gorgeous!!
I was a little upset that their idea of "upgraded" and mine did not coincide. I had numerous complaints about the aesthetics of the room: carpeting needed cleaning, upholstery torn, had to climb under the desk to plug in the computer (not even an outlet in the desk lamp). Not being shy about this, I complained to the desk. They greeted this information with smiles and agreement. I was then handed two keys and told to go look at their "New Model Rooms". The entire building is being re-done.
I cannot wait to return next year. The personnel are so very nice and caring (I also was called by an Assistant Manager)....the property so gorgeous, and add to that the new beautiful rooms (with outlets on the desk!!!) and they will once again have their five stars.
While there, do not miss Naples Tomato Restaurant, and Bice Grand Cafe, both nearby and offering awesome Happy Hours!

Room Tip: Anything overlooking the Bay and Pool Waterfall.

This Hyatt is easily my favorite hotel on the Gulf Coast. What's up with all the Hiltons with ugly generic hotel furniture these days? I live in the area, and we'll skip fancy hotels and trips to Orlando or Tampa and just stay here for the weekend. It's a nicer than any Hilton within 200 miles; has two pools (one with a water slide), beach access, and a view folks in Naples pay millions for. Oh, and if you stay off-season you can score a beautiful room with a view for under $200.

We stayed here in the early summer and the hotel wasn't too full or busy. As the other reviews have stated, the grounds and hotel itself are absolutely beautiful. We arrived much earlier than normal check in and although a room wasn't ready for us the very courteous front desk staff took my cell phone # to call us when the room was ready. We went to a nearby shopping mall and ate lunch before returning to the hotel. As promised they called my cell phone to inform us our room was ready.

Our room was on one of the upper floors and on a corner which afforded great views from two walls. One side had a balcony with 2 chairs and a small table, the other side had a small platform you could stand on. The room itself was clean and the bed was outstanding. As some of the other reviews have stated, you could see a little “age” in the room furnishings but it is a very minor quibble. The outdoor and public spaces are all very impressive. Plenty of places and space to find your own quiet corner throughout even if there is a conference ongoing.

This hotel is not directly on the Gulf and offers a short and free boat trip to a nearby private island for direct gulf beach. The boat runs back and forth on a set schedule so check the times before you head out to the loading dock and don’t be late. Although you may be tempted not to visit the beach island with the 3 outstanding pools on the property itself, I do recommend at least one trip out to the island. It does not have any food or drink services unfortunately so bring anything you want to eat/drink with you. There are nice beach chairs and umbrellas and a large deck area with restrooms. The main beach can probably get a little crowded but if you don’t mind you can walk a little ways up or around the end of the island and have things relatively to yourselves.

We ate at the Tarpoon restaurant one night and it was a good experience, likewise the breakfast buffet in the morning in the hotel itself was very good and worth the money (it included juice and coffee in the price when we were there). The bar service staff was absolutely outstanding. They had live music on some of the nights and the bartender and wait staff were great there throughout the stay.

By and large the staff throughout the hotel and restaurants were good to great. The only exception was the poolside bar. Despite being apparently well staffed the service was slow and a little brusque. It wasn’t in character with the rest of the property. The drinks there were fine but the food was fair at best, again not in character with the rest of the property. We only used their service once as a result of the service here despite spending a lot of time at the pools. As mentioned there are 3 pools, one specifically for kids that looked very cool and one designated for adults only.

During our stay our room keys stopped working when we came back late one night. The front desk immediately gave us new keys and a bottle of champagne for our trouble!

To sum it up, a great visit. We enjoyed the well-kept and beautiful property, the staff by and large did a simply outstanding job of meeting or exceeding our expectations. The pools are outstanding, loved the beach as well. We look forward to a return stay.

Room Tip: Corner rooms and an upper level floor will afford the best views. Check to see the type/size of bal...

My wife and I were astonished at the beautiful property. Upon arrival we used valet which was very efficient for us. The bellman brought our luggage to the room in a timely manner as well. We checked into a room on the the 11th floor with a balcony and a nice view of Estero Bay. The room was great and upscale as is the entire property. Check In took less than 5 minutes and the gentleman whom checked us in was cordial and informative. After being on the road for several hours to get to the property we decided to order room service for dinner. The food arrived in about half the time which was promised and was freshly prepared. The room service crew did an outstanding job our entire weekend stay. Breakfast was really good as well in the room each morning. We also ate lunch at the outdoor pool bar and my wife enjoyed the friend grouper sandwich and my burger was tasty as well. The Christmas tree set up in the hotel is nicely done and my toddler was mesmerized by its glow. I can't wait to go back when my son is older to enjoy all the activities like the pool and slide, rock climbing, boating etc.. You surely will be impressed by this property and its fine staff.
