“I highly recommend the Inn at the Springs. Our stay was wonderful!”
Reviewed August 8, 2009

During June, we traveled from Wisconsin to the Bonita Springs/Naples area for our son's wedding. We had heard great things about the Inn and decided to stay there for a few days during our Christmas trip to the area. Dalia, who is very friendly, helpful and professional, took us on a tour of the property and worked with us on group pricing. After returning to Wisconsin we were able to easily work through all the details via the internet and get everything set for June. As it turned out, our wedding guests reserved 14 boutique rooms for varying lengths of time. The rooms were fresh, lovely and roomy. Two of the rooms were used by families with young children so the generous square footage and full kitchen were perfect! There were four in our party and we were staying for 2 weeks so we reserved a 2-bedroom boutique suite...which was wonderful. It didn't even seem like we were in a hotel room.
Over the course of everyone's stays, we heard no complaints from our guests. Every member of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Dalia was always there to help however she could and Tony was wonderful. He spent a lot of time with our guests helping them plan their excursions. Over the course of 2 weeks, we were able to take notice of many things, and we always saw the staff being friendly to all their guests, making them feel like they were so happy to see them. They were always smiling and helpful. You were truly treated like friends.
The hotel location is excellent with a grocery store, big box retailer and other shops just across the street. There are many restaurants...all types...nearby as well as anything else a traveler needs to make their trip complete...not to mention the beaches.
The Inn at the Springs is a great place to stay and, above all else, it's very economical. You'll get a BIG bang for your buck and many, many smiles.

We had 2 nights there in a "boutique" suite while taking the long way round from Orlando the the Keys.

Check in was easy and the rooms were lovely. Flat panel TVs in each to the delight of my kids. There was some sort of swimming tournament group staying the first night so it was failry full but they left the next morning making the place really quiet.

The pool is fairly small and I imagine it could get crowded. Breakfast was a good mix of hot (omlettes, pattties, pancakes) and cold (cereals, croissant, donuts). The breakfast room was overflowing the first morning but fine the second day.

There are various chain places to eat nearby and the beaches are 5 minutes away. All i all a very good hotel at an excellent price.

We were one of the families with the basketball teams referenced in an earlier posting, in town for the AAU National basketball tournament. I travel often for both business and pleasure and have stayed in beautiful 5-star resorts (Four Season, Ritz Carlton), standard hotels (DoubleTree, Sheraton, Marriott Courtyard) and even the occassional flea bag (though we have gotten better at avoiding those - thanks Trip Advisor!) and know that different properties are better suited for different purposes. I researched our hotel options on Trip Advisor in advance, and based on the reviews chose the Inn at the Springs. It was absolutely perfect for us. From the beginning, Tony and Kim were professional and courteous in making the arrangements for our group. Actually, they were beyond courteous - they were very friendly and made me feel they would be very happy to have us.

There were 36 of us in all - some families with players and siblings, some parent with player, one coach. The hotel offered a variety of room sizes and selections so that each could select what was best for them. We (my husband, our daughters and I) stayed in the boutique 2 BR unit. It was attractively decorated and the layout was great (our room on one side of the living room/kitchenette, the girls' room on the other). The "older" rooms were also very nice. Evereyone in our group was very pleased. You could prepare full meals in the room if you wanted to, though we ended up going out or grilling by the pool. (Tony was great at making recommendations and reservations.) The pool is not large, but adequate. There are a Target and Publix (grocery store) next door, along with a small Italian restaurant and a Dairy Queen. The beach is closeby but not really within walking distance. There are a number of very nice shopping centers (outside malls, really), a wonderful movie theater and other like activities nearby as well (all require a short drive). The hotel has a number of beach chairs, shovels, etc. for guests to borrow (some left by previous guests - we "donated" a chair and bucket of beach toys when we left) - a nice personal touch. If I had any "complaint" it might be that the maid service was not great (I'm fairly picky), but I have every confidence that if I would have raised the issue at the time, the hotel would have corrected it. I really cannot say enough about Tony - he even went so far as to arrange for a little party for our team and the other team (who was from California) one night, including buying and greasing a watermelon for the girls to compete over in the pool. We really felt like appreciated guests, which is not so common at most hotels anymore where people may be polite but are not warm and friendly since you are just passing through. We were sad to leave and Tony made us feel like they would miss us too!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with a group, with family or on business. It is not a "resort" so if you are looking for a large property that has everything and room service, bellmen, etc., it's not the right place for you. It is not the place for a romantic getaway. I would choose this hotel over any Courtyard, Holiday Inn, Fairfield Inn, etc. Tony and the rest of the staff are terrific - we could not have felt more welcome; the location is good; the rooms are nice and well furnished; the price is VERY reasonable. I wish the National tournament were back in Ft. Myers next year - we would have already booked at the Inn of the Springs! (Tony - do you have a sister hotel in Kings Island, Ohio? LOL)

Arrived at Inn at the Springs with my wife and our daughter to find that I had not booked a boutique room as I intended, so had to do with the unmodern one bed suite which turned out to be adequate for our needs (the boutique suites appeared to be unavailable). The hotel was full of teenagers playing a basketball tournament so it was nice and lively, but when they left it was erriely quiet. The room was clean and I couldn't fault the cleaning staff, front desk was friendly and helpful, pool was small and mostly empty, breakfast was a non event but a bonus at the price.Bonita Springs has nothing to offer unless you have a car, taxi,s are non existant and mostly everything closes at 10 pm., so after your evening meal its time to take to your bed. Naples was nice to walk around, but eating or shopping there really expensive, loved the beaches except fot the signs warning of 'sharks seen in these waters recently' and 'do the stingray shuffle'. Loved the shopping malls, loved the 4th of july fireworks at Naples, loved the many restaurants nearby, but my 8 days in Bonita Springs were more than enough as my tongue was hanging out to get back to Ireland for a drink, without having to worry about driving home. Top marks to the Inn at the Springs for a wonderful quiet time spent there, hi to the now famous Tony Almedia, and thanks for the beach chairs and bucket and spade, which turned back the clock to my sandcastle building days.

Our stay at the Inn At The Springs was a great experience. We were visiting the area for the Junior Olympics Swim Meet and we had 6 families staying there. We all said it was a great choice in hotels. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. They even had someone come in early to set up the complimentary hot breakfast to accomadate our swim meet schedule. We stayed in the 2 bedroom boutique room which was decorated so beautifully you forgot you were staying in a hotel. The beds were very comfortable as well.
There is a Publix and Target within walking distance to the Inn. The beach was only about 3 miles away and a new outdoor shopping mall with a Movie Theater was just down the road.
If you like a good Italian meal visit Enricos in the Publix plaza.
The price was very reasonable and we will definately come stay there again.

Very impressive hotel and we were met by the concierge (for all 24 fans, he was actually called Tony Almeida!) who was charming. As we had only been able to book 2 separate rooms on line , he happily upgraded us to a 2 bedroomed suite free of charge. The suite had full kitchen and lounge along with 2 huge en suite bedrooms. He gave us great advice of places to visit and even a detailed map of all the restaurants in the area. Told us about all the beaches and conservation areas. Very helpful and couldn't praise it too highly.

The service was exceptional. Tony and his front desk staff were very helpful with such things as recommendations for eating, local touring/recreational activities. The housekeeping staff were very pleasant and accomodating.
We originally planned a 2 nite stay, but ended up staying for 7 nites. We originally wanted a regular room, but when we booked that, Tony (the manager) suggested that for a few dollars more, we could get an efficiency room: king bed, kitchenette and plasma TV. We took him up on his offer.......oh, and he also matched the price we found for the hotel on the Expedia site. A real bargain for a great hotel!
The location is ideal for day touring the northern areas of Fort Myers, Sanibel/ Captiva Island and local Estero, Bonita Springs and the south toward Naples and the southwestern Everglade area. It is also a short walk from 2 shopping/food areas and a short ride to the beaches.
We liked the accomodations very much, and the only dislikes were their continnental breakfast ( there were no banannas to be had and the variety of other foods were so-so, but their coffee was good) and the other dislike was their pool/take with you day touring towels: they were well used and really too thin.
In all, it's a great place, very clean, good prices and convenient location.
