“Excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2011

We showed up on vacation with a party of about 16. No Problem. Food was out fast and was OUTSTANDING. I higly recommend the pizza. The bread they bring out before dinner is excellent. The staff is super nice and even the cook came out to ask us how the food was. Very nice! Very good prices as well.

“autentic italian food, great value, good friendly service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2011

We are visiting from New York and were looking for authentic Italian food. We found it at Brooklyn Oven Pizza Pasta and more. The pizza was real NY style pizza and the food was just what we were looking for. The sauce was just like my italian mother makes. I felt like I was sitting in my grandmothers kitchen. Family recipies and homemade sauce along with the friendly service will make us return again. Bill the owner could not have been more hospitable and made us feel like we were part of the family.

“Fabulous Find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2011

We stopped here not sure how the food would be and it was fabulous! It was 30 min prior to close and it appeared that they were not expecting more customers so we felt bad but they made us feel at home! The food and service were great! Bill the owner is an awesome guy and we enjoyed the conversation and tourist information. We will definitely be back!

“Good Value for your Dining Dollar”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2011

Have been to this restaurant several times and always enjoy the meal. The Margherita pizza (14 in) is $12. and more than enough for 2 people. The house salad is $4. and delicious. Two in our group ordered the 14in stuffed pizza which comes with a bowl of delicious homemade sauce and they thought it was very good and couldn't finish it all.
The lasagne at $12. is disappointing - too generic tasting -, but Nona's rice balls are a tasty treat of two fried rice/meat/spices balls that when dipped in the accompanying sauce are delicious.
A glass of one of the house wines is $4. and you get a full pour - a pleasant surprise in these days of $8. and up glass-of-wine cost and a chintzy glass at that. No, the wines are not high end, but they are definitely good and pair well with the Italian fare. A variety of beer is also available.
The dining set up is probably not the best in the world, small space crowded with tables for varying groups in one section and tables against the wall as you enter with a view of the prep/cooking area, but the servers are friendly and you get the feeling you're eating with family.
Southwest Florida has a number of restaurants many of which are overpriced and pretentious - this is def not one of them. If you're looking for good food in a casual atmosphere and for a very fair and reasonable price, try Brooklyn Oven.
