Recd by a good friend which is usually a death knell ,the opposite occurred and a wonderful evening and meal ensued.Fantastic grouper dish I must say and easily one of the best I've had the fortune to enjoy.Atmosphere ,and good service contributed to a fun moment as I'm continually searching for more places to experience on my first visit to this area.

Thank Martin W

Found this place last year on a visit. Hard to say anything bad at all. Parking can be a bear here so go early. Food, service and the general experience all top notch. Keep up the good work there. Will be back.

We visited Coconut Jack's over the holiday season for lunch. Service was outstanding, atmosphere was very good too. My husbands meal was very good (shrimp tacos) mine average (taco salad). We would visit again!

Two wines, two beers, Seafood Plate(crunchy fried), Grouper Sandwich(blackened), total $78.86, plus tip $83.86. The Seafood Plate was very large where the OVERLY HEAVY CRUST(not crunchy)was like chewing cemented cereal flakes. They placed over cooked soggy vegs beneath the fish, 90 per cent was discarded ; the blackened Sandwich was over-cooked, only slightly blackened, with an extraordinary large burger roll with a small amount of french fries. The quality of food was not worth the high prices.

Secondly: While the service was responsive -- it was killer responsive, sit here now, immediately what do you want to drink and upon return "what are your selections" before I even had a chance to make room for my beer; waiter returned four times in about seven minutes to take the order again and again; concluding with the bill being presented while at the same time cleaning up our table. I detected one waiter who seemed to be assigned simply to check on half-empty drinks of patrons and prompted them to have another drink and then move to each table.

Third: The valet parking is absolutely a crazy scene and dangers to staff, you and your car.
I was prevented from entering off Bonita Beach Rd with cars bearing down on me since the parking area is extremely small. The staff hand feed you into the short area while inches away from your moving car and patrons walking all over either getting to their car or going into the restaurant, all the time in front of moving vehicles. Upon leaving, the chaos is recreated for your entertainment. And if you have a car you value -- you will not enjoy the thought of what is happening to your nice car while eating. Bonita Springs has much better instead of going to this tourist trap.

We visited this restaurant for the second time recently (first time it was pretty good) and were still taken with the friendly service at the reception desk ( go Tammy!). The wait was short, which was great, and we had yummy mojitos with sugar cane sticks in the meantime. Once we were seated the waitress was not overly friendly and gave us her usual pitch about specials - two of the four of us took her advice and got the " best item on the menu" - stuffed grouper - and were disappointed with its overly fishy taste and that it was dry. A vegetarian in the group had a hard time finding a meal to suit her needs and settled on a salad that was mostly lettuce with fruit- nothing filling like lots of cheese, nuts or lentils. That said, the water views are nice. We may go back again for happy hour mojitos with a view.
