“Best Breakfast Restaurant in Bonita Springs/Estero Florida”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2012

Usually there is a wait to be seated for breakfast but it is worth the wait. It is not unusual to see 40 people lined up outside the door on weekend mornings waiting to get in. You can make a reservation to arrive, say after church to cut down the wait time. They don't advertise that they take reservations but you can usually make arrangements. The food is excellent and the wait staff quick with the service. The breakfast specials are posted on a white board so check them out. They are always good. For basic breakfast, they always cook the eggs and bacon just the way you order them. If you go for lunch, I recommend the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It is the best in the area.

“Didn't Disappoint!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2012

This has always been a great place to have lunch or breakfast and it didn’t disappoint this year. Nothing fancy, just really good food. I had the Rueben which featured Boars Head corned beef and it was great. It was served a little differently in that it was on top of two slices of bread. Given that a great Rueben is difficult to eat as a sandwich, this made a lot of sense and I enjoyed it thoroughly. My husband had the open-faced turkey sandwich, which he said was very good. We couldn’t leave without the rice pudding which is excellent, particularly if you like cinnamon.

“Great little place serving breakfast and lunch”

My husband and I arrived around 11:30 a.m. I had breakfast. He had a salad. Portions were generous. Staff was friendly. We'll go back again.

“A Little Philly!”

We go here for scrapple in the morning and cheesesteaks at lunch. It is the very best Philadelphia food outside of the city!

“Traditional Diner with good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2012

Expect to come away very satisfied by the flavor and quality of the food.

The proprietor is from Philadelphia Greek stock, but there's very little Greek food on the menu (apart from avgalemono, called chicken lemon soup). The cuisine is traditional American, with excellent barbecue pork (nearly as good as my mother-in-law's!) and first class breakfasts. Pancakes are fluffy and delicious, with a good range of syrups.
Portions are very generous without being completely overwhelming.

OK, so it's not a place you'd pick for a *first* date, but once you go there, you'll be back again and again.
